Pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. In the aroma, banana with hints of vanilla. In the taste, dry banana fruitiness with a pleasant notes of vanilla. A spice bite with a medium too lighter bodied mouthfeel, with a small dry banana peel in the aftertaste. Nice dry banana with a vanilla that really rounds out the flavor.

Pours a light clear blonde with a white film for a head.
Smells of vanilla, citrus, bananas, clove, and wheat malt.
Citrus and vanilla flavor over wheat malt with a hint of banana.
Medium body with a tingle of carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
All in all, an interesting sessionable ale with some nice flavor to it. Worth trying and unique.

Served on tap into a pint glass at The Syndicate Restaurant and Brewery
A- Poured a hazy orange with a one finger creamy head that left some nice lace.
S- Banana, clove, citrus, little bit of vanilla, and yeast
T- Banana, clove, citrus, some vanilla, and yeast
M- Nice creamy mouthfeel, smooth, with some nice carbonation too
O- A really nice hefeweizen with a great mouthfeel, very creamy. The vanilla is present and adds some new character to the hefeweizen, but is not overpowering.

On tap at the brewpub in Niagara Falls. Pours a pale orange colour with thick white head and some lacing on the glass. Smells of wheat malt, banana and only a hint of vanilla. Too bad, I love vanilla. Sweet flavour. Doesn't quite seem as yeasty as a hefe, but a nice wheat beer still.

Pours a hazy a bit paler than expected yellow with nice lacing. Aromas are dominated by banana, with a bit of clove underneath. Vanilla? Nothing to smell here folks... The taste is exactly the same. No vanilla. WTF? Great mouthfeel and I could drink this on a sunny day on their patio all day...
Would be 4's+ across the board if sold as Hefeweizen, but saying it has vanilla, then none in it at all (and my wife agreed) knocks it down.

On tap at the Judge- Hazy dark yellow with a tiny bubbled off white cap. Yeasty nose with some citrus and wheat malt, but lacking the banana punch and clove I look for in a hefe. The taste is a bit better, and comes equipped with oranges and banana, lemon and wheat malts, a bit spicy. Creamy, fruity, yeasty finish with no trace of the mentioned vanilla. All in all, a tasty local hefe.

Brought back sample from brewery.
Appearance: Pours a yellowish orange from a clear bottle. Hazy in appearance. Head diminishes instantly.
Aroma: Lots and lots of bannana. A slight amount of vanilla. A funky yeast smell in there too.
Taste: General sweetness, stomach bile bitterness, quite an infected beer.
Mouthfeel: Medium carbonation, light bodied.
Final Statement: Hate to see craft brewers doing the clear bottle thing. May be better on tap and on a new yeast strain.

Sampled at The Cest What? Fall Festival of Beers. Nice golden appearance and vanilla in the aroma. I didnt find the vanilla as overpowering in the flavour as I feared, and in fact it was quite pleasant, with a nice wheatiness. Nice palate, but nothing special. Overall a pretty easy drinking beer, that pleasantly surprised me.

acquired in trade from northyorksammy, Thanks Sammy.
Poured from a 12 oz bottle to a hefe glass, the liquid is a cloudy pale yellow, very pale with good carbonation. The head is big white and laces quite nice.
The smell is week, light citrus and a lot of grain and straw.
The taste is citrus up front sorta tart, lemon powder mix, not great for a beer. Some vanilla and light bread is nice , but the sour citrus is a bit too much for me.
The mouthfeel is good, nice body coupled with very good carbonation.
The drinkability is ok, a very unique brew, but not for me.

Crwills bottle, surprisingly good from a decent new brewer. Very favourable cloudy wheat appearance. Creamy lace, somewhat too vanilla, but the end was good. Yeasty and wheaty. A pleasant drink, though on the sweet side. I understand the initial cask were too young.

Picked up 12 of these from the brewery before ever having tasted it - I'm glad I took the risk!
Pours a hazy, foggy golden colour with a big fluffy head into a pint glass. Some yeast particles floating around, and a bit dull, but not bad. Aroma is spritzy, with only hints of vanilla. Lots of banana, citrus, and spice flavours in there. Flavour is teriffic! I didn't think the vanilla would complement the flavours of a hefe weizen, but it does, and also adds a lot to my perception of the mouthfeel as thick and creamy. Standard hefe flavours are accompanied by vanilla, a little more sweetness than usual, and maybe some orange or lemon rind.
Very drinkable summer/fall beer. I hope they brew up some more next year!

Had this at Augusta's Winking Judge in Hamilton, This came to be a nice cloudy yellow, a bit lacking in the head department though. Smell was vanilla and banana-spice, quite nice. Taste is what got me there, the flavor was very much like a German Hefe Weizen, similar to Schneider Weisse, aftertaste was pure vanilla. I rather enjoyed it. Quite smooth and very drinkable.
I hope this becomes one of their regular offerings, I liked this one.

Sample at C'est What's fall festival.
A: Hazy straw, white head, some retention, good lace.
S: Grainy wheat, tart, spicy, acidic, vanilla.
T: Grainy wheat, some acidity. Very little sweetness, the vanilla doesn't seem quite right.
M: light body, very dry, moderate carbonation.
D: I prefered not to finish the small sample.

On tap at C'est What? Festival of Small Brewers.
Pours a cloudy yellow/golden, thick white head, lace spots, settles to a thin ring. Smell is vanilla, banana, wheat, clovey spices, bread, touch of caramel, not bad. Taste is more of the same, raw vanilla bean, spices, bread, lots of yeast, subtle flavour. Mouthfeel is light bodied with high carbonation. Not bad, the weissbier itself is pretty mediocre but the vanilla works well.
