With over 3 pounds of Centennial hops per barrel, this double IPA has a slightly punishing yet entirely pleasing bitterness that dances on the tongue.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours red orange with a small off white head. Smells of earthy hop and slight citrus notes. Tastes of earthy and piney hops, with very slight citrus. Beer is medium bodied yet still easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Taste: Floral hops balanced by rye bread notes and creamy mouthfeel. Herbal floral bread nose. Copper hue, mostly clear, delicate head and lattice of lace. Medium body. Easy drinker for an IPA.

Thought this was quite good. Many folks have commented on the taste being piney etc. I did not think so. It does not have the juicy, citrusy taste of an ale made w citra or similar hops but that is OK to me. It's made only w Centennial hops but is a well constructed and tasty beverage ! Sure, there are better but this is still quite nice.

Unknown vintage; drank 10/28/15 @ the Palace.
Murky dark orange rust appearance.
Nice off-white head; frothy lace.
Grapefruit & caramel notes in the nose.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Caramel & grapefruit flavors up front; a tangy bite on the finish. Not my profile & almost an American Barleywine; still decent.

Usual copper and orange colors for a dipa, looks like a good one, 3/4" of head on it, not the most dense but good retention for the amount of hops in it. Aroma was all centennial hops, in a good amount, not skimping.
Lot of caramel and bitterness, the hops could offer more flavor, but we're still in enjoyable territory here. Dat caramel brings on some sweetness. Its an enjoyable second tier dipa beer that is at an affordable price and nice format.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden-orange color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of roasted malt, pineapple, toasted caramel and pine. Nice piney bitterness with citrus and roasted malt.
