The Blonde IPA is a limited offering by the Asylum and it is a good one. So if you have the chance....try it! The beer poured a nice clear blonde with white head that left some lace. The scent carried citrus hoppy tones. The taste carried citrus and was bitter at the finish. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall this was a great blonde and should be tried whilst supplies last.

poured on tap into shaker pint
A - Yellow and gold with a bright white 1 finger head. Nice collar around glass and lacing galore.
S - Big tropical fruit, passion, pineapple, kiwi, and hints of citrus. Malt was light and basic.
T - Topical fruit dominated, passion, pineapple, kiwi, and some citrus. Malts were minimal, but some breadiness in the middle. Finish was a citrus bitter.
M - Fairly light bodied for an IPA, but well within the style. Carbonation was nice and it left a nice bitter and dryness at the end that lingered.
O - This was a tropical hop bomb with minimal malt that left me wondering if it could hold up as it lacked a bit of balance. The hop heads will love it, but I want a bit more malt. Quite enjoyable, but you better get it while it lasts at the brewery.
