Was expecting a letdown based on some of these ratings, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Served cold from bottle. Smelled like it was going to be a booze bomb but the alcohol was well tempered, with many of the chocolate and caramel malt notes still shining through. Again, didn't taste nearly as strong as the bourbon on the nose would lead you to believe.

650 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Deep brown body. Medium khaki head.
Smell - Bourbon is strong, but not boozy. Vanilla. Deep caramel.
Taste - More bourbon. Really dominates. Caramel and nutty malts, but it's mostly bourbon. Vanilla lingers in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium body. Not quite enough to stand up to the flavors.
Overall - Eh. Nice bourbon, but not something really outstanding.
