Slightly opaque golden color that pours with a finger of white head that quickly dissipates.
Big dank, piney nose, with some citrus
Astringent, herbal flavor. Lots of pine, some citrus. A fair amount of malty sweetness. Not exactly in balance...the taste leads with hops and finishes with the malt. Kind of interesting.
A little sweet and somewhat oily...not the characteristics that I'd look for in a single IPA
Many elements of a classic west coast IPA. Not totally refined though. Solid overall.

1 pt. 6 fl. oz. bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Hazy golden colour, fairly pale for an American IPA. Big to moderate white head. Lovely aroma of floral and fruity hops (Centennial and Simcoe or Chinook) , notes of peaches and tropical fruits. The flavour is resinous and grapefruity, initially relatively smooth and inviting, but with an aggressive and nearly medicinal bitterness in the aftertaste. Relatively light bodied and dry.

16 ounce can poured into a tulip glass
‘Freshest by 10/18/18’ is stamped on the bottom of the can, not my favorite date, but it's better than no date.
L: Clear golden IPA, half finger frothy white head quickly dissipates into fine lacing across the top
S: Citrusy hoppy goodness, a little dankness floating around
T: Dank and delicious, tangerine, stone fruit notes. Mildly bitter, well balanced, very good
F: Easy to drink, not filling like other IPA with more malt, but not a session beer with no backbone
O: If you’re on a beach, this is a great choice. ABV is little lower than most IPAs, but it's not too malty, great for a summer day. Also, the 16 ounces is a nice bonus.

Thinking I got a bad 4pack?...bitter, bland and nothing juicy or tropical here for me.

16 oz can poured into a snifter. I liked the look which was classic West Coast IPA - moderately hazy and golden-amber with a foamy two-finger white head that lingered. This one had a bright citrus aroma, tangerine and grapefruit, right out of the can on the pour. Some earthy pine was also there. The taste featured earthy notes up front with lots of pine and some resin. The tangerine was there as well but stayed in the background. There was a deep old-school California bitterness that I appreciated. Dry and clean on the finish. Really enjoyed this one.
