For the record the 2011 release of this is actually the 5 th anniversary but its apparently the same recipe.
A: Amber to yellow color and hazy. Topped with a frothy white head with very good lacing.
S: Spicy herbaceous citrus and pale malt.
T: Fizzling bitterness up front helps to break up the sweet caramel flavors. Herbal tea leaf like bitter notes take over and in the background lingers orange pith.
M: prickly yet sticky.
O: good stuff but I wish the would come up with another one. This is not good enough to repeat and call anniversary. However it doe have a nice balance between bitter and sweet which is a good thing.

Old review. Light orange color, very thin white head on it, 1/10". Aroma was a let down for a Port beer, they have a very short shelf life it seems. I think this one was Simcoe heavy.
Gigantaur bitterness, too boozy, just way to big, kind of a mess beer. Just swingin' that hop sledgehammer all over this one, no delicate touches, but no off flavors either.
