Amazing... 22 oz bottle, 34 degrees to start, served into a snifter...

A: Opaque, golden orange, with a tight thick head, and a stick lacing that stays through out the hole bottle...

S: Hoppy, citrusy, piney, floral goodness.

T: Booming with flavors, some sweet, but mostly hops. well blended citrus and pine...

M: rounded, and biting, with some sweet elements, the grapefruit/orange hops stay on the tongue and create a thick reminder of the mouthful. Resinous pine also permeates the after-breath.

O: Great DIPA. Not sure I have had the past editions, but this puts PORT back on my radar... Loved Mongo and Wipeout in the past... but forgot how good these guys were.

Poured gently in a Bruery tulip, a big foamy head forms easily over a cloudy orange/beige body.

Nose of hops and more hops, piney Columbus, citrusy/orangey Amarillo and Citra. Sweet sugary smells of pale malt, even some cotton candy. A bit of cheese and basil. Maybe they threw one of their very tasty San Francisco pizzas in this one.

This is a big DIPA, very tasty with a huge fresh hop assault and a nice softer malt background that ends with a slightly green vegetal bitterness. A refined take on the usually aggressive Amarillo, Simcoe, Columbus West Coast style DIPA (and their variants). This has layers of complex flavors: pungeunt Columbus and Simcoe piney flavors with a nice shot of Citra orangeness and tropicals. Dry hopping this with Citra is making my Citra radar detector go wild. Pine forest floor meets orange grove and tropical forest.

Body is medium, almost a bit viscous, with effervescent carbonation--a refreshing, cleansing mouthfeel. The long bitter, slightly dry finish of course makes you wanna keep drinking this one. And this doesn't usually happen with beers, but my nasal passages are also going wild with hop smells.

Really tasty. The addition of Citra I think refines what would be a harsher type of West Coast style IPA. The ABV is not all that noticeable, so this one will plow you under quicker than you think, so sip, sip, sip.

Clover honey, orangish-yellow in color with a slight haze. Poured with a short bright white dense foam that slowly reduced to a wispy cap. Pungent citrus hops, grapfruit, orange rind, lemon peel and a hint of booze at the end. On the lighter side of medium bodied but with rich, creamy smooth carbonation. Pungent tropical citrus hop flavors right out of the gate with a light caramel maltiness struggling through. Finished cleanly with a citrus hop afterntaste that nicely covered the high abv. Fabulous.
