Mild orange color, head foamed up in a concerning way, but ultimately it was fine. Aroma dropped tons of bitterness and not much more.

Taste is another bitter bomb. Doesn't really have much in the way of hop mouthfeel, more of a mouthfeel akin to copper pennies. Bomber format for a beer that there are hundreds of examples just like it. Pass.

I don't usually drink many IPA's during the winter but Santa left this one under our tree (And I never look a gift beer in the mouth)

22 oz bottle. No bottling info

Pours a hazy golden-yellow body with a white head. Fair retention, Good lacing

Prominent citrus with some plumb and a slightly grassy floral bouquet

Taste is mostly grapefruit with a nice bitter finish

Medium thin feel is a bit prickly

Overall a nice average IPA. I would drink it again but wont necessarily seek it out. Perhaps if I had it in the summer I would appreciate it a little more.

Handsome amber with an orange tint, and slightly hazed. Big thick suds in the tall Maredsous glass. Pleasant mouthful of tangy flavors and big foamy carbonation.

Kind of a hop stew, but full of fruity flavors with a moderate bitterness. Brewery says the hops used in brewing are Columbus and Centennial, and dry hopped with Amarillo. IBUs rated at 70. Warm, rather rich-tasting for the moderate alcohol content. Distinct caramel flavor with some leafy, herbal taste, and a bitter orange peel finish.

Quite drinkable but it does get a little sharp after some sipping with all the hop oils. From the 22 oz bottle bought at the brewery and restaurant in downtown Tacoma.

Thanks to GRG1313 for sharing this one at his tasting.

Pours a murky orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer but the mouthfeel on this one is a bit off in my opinion.
