The rating is strongly dependent on my dislike of green tea. I had a sip of my friend's beer & all I could taste was the tea. It wasn't overpowering but it definitely was very earthy. We didnt know what it was at the time so our whole table kept taking sips. Everyone else seemed to really like it. It did look nice in the glass though: medium red-caramel color with a lot of bubbles. I didnt find anything else very appealing.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a cloudy yellow color with 3/4 inch of white head that had decent retention and light lacing.
The aroma was fairly typical for a Blonde/Golden ale, mostly mats with just a bit of hops. The beer was a bit sweeter in the nose than usual, and perhaps it was the power of suggestion that provided the hint of tea. On the tongue though, the did provide a nice counter-point to the earthy grains. The beer was on the sweet side as well, but not annoyingly so.
The body was nicely full, while being light and well-rounded. Drinkability was good, but would depend on one's taste for green tea. Overall, a nice little beer that's worth your time if you see it around the Puget Sound.
