Holy sh!t did this sneak up on me and blow my socks out of the water! Its as if Tetreault and Page decided to make a pils. Super hopped, super juicy, and yet still crisp and clean enough to assertively convince you its a lager and not an ale. I'll be ecstatic if this becomes a regular offering at my beer store. Completely unexpected. Completely wicked awesome.

A big thanks to the founding father of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. I left PA in early November, and still have beers left from his last package. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is bursting with citrus. Taste is bold citrus hops, bitter for the style, light malts and pine are present. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a highly refreshing and a very good beer.

Canned about 6 weeks ago. Thank you Peak for clearly communicating the born on date.

Pours a golden hazy straw. Huge head with great retention and lacing. Beautiful looking beer.

Great aroma. Popping out of the glass is tropics/citrus and hops. This is a unique brew.

Delicioso. Taste follows the nose. Cereal-y, citrus-y hop bomb. Pretty bitter aftertaste which will turn some off of this "pilsner". I for one, enjoy it and can appreciate the deviation in style. As it warms, the 7.6% abv comes through.

Nicely carbonated and dry. Light body. Love it.

Admittedly, I have not had many high-profile pilsners, but this one takes the cake. Slightly ahead of Peak's regular fresh cut.

This an outstanding and unique beer that you should really try.

The Super Fresh is a beautiful gold beer...deep color, medium body, poured a big head, minimal lacing
I get a grassy smell, it's freshness in a big sniff...such a distinct smell
Big hops bite on the top, dry-hopped, grassy taste that's bitten off by the bold hops, what an imperial Pilsner, finishes like a session beer, worth the price anytime...
It's a crisp refreshing and bold sip, the best Pilsner I've ever had. They can't make enough of them.

decidedly american, on the edge of ipl, this is one of the best hoppy lagers around right now, and without a shadow of a doubt the best beer i have ever had from peak organic, no contest whatsoever. more than just citrus and citra, i get a pretty complex hop profile, grapefruit zest, spruce tips, west coast oils, high alpha, tangerine, even lime. you just dont see this in a pils base very often, especially where the malt flavor is so robust as well. they were smart to make this a little bigger and stronger than a conventional pils in order to hold up all the hops, a brilliant bit of beer architecture there. the lager yeast tastes german, old world, highly attenuated, and fresh, pretty awesome way to round this one out. its dry for how hoppy it is, not particularly bitter, and very obviously a lager not an ipa. the hop complexion is about as deep as you can go, intensely fresh, bright, sparkling even, not vegetal or leafy, but definitely not grassy or dried out, its ripe and drippy, really sexy. maybe some amarillo and simcoe on top of citra and maybe one of those crazy new new zealand varietals. whatever it is, id sure like to know more about it, but more than anything, i just wish i could drink another! this is a style bender, but an all time glass of beer!

Came in a standard pint glass a clear lighter golden with a minimal head atop.Fresh citrus and mown grass in the nose, like the name of the beer says...super fresh.Sweet and citrusy on the palate with a little grassiness,a hop lovers delight,a light sweetish pizza dough malt base is great underneath fresh hop flavors.Just a great beer and joy to drink, ove the fresh hop flavors, loved it.

Pours clear, bright yellow in color with 1/2 inch head. Taste is grapefruit, orange, wet hops, and light pilsener malt. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, slightly bitter. Easily the best beer I have had from Peak Organic. Super tasty, hoppy, slightly juicy pilsener.

Kinda a strange beer. I've never had an imperial Pilsner before and the concept is strange. A bright, crisp beer with a fat boozy body. Pleasant, I'll definitely drink another, but a strange concept. Smells like a dipa, piney and boozy. Taste and body can't really be separated. Round, boozy, no malt, crisp but with round edges. Pretty cool, I like it but it may not be the style for me.

Drinkable, with crisp lemon and bread flavors, with surprising thickness. Reminds me of both Jacks Sbby Calypyra and Evil Twin Citra Sunshine Slacker, but better. Not sure how this isn't considered an imperial Pilsner or something else like an APA, but who cares? It's tasty as anything and I'm sure I'll get it at least a third time.

L: Very hazy yellow with a small white head. Medium retention, excellent lacing.

S: Yellow grapefruit, lemon, mango, papaya, peach, pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew, green and white grape, faint cracker.

T: Peach, pineapple, mango, lemon, yellow grapefruit, pear, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, white grape, guava. Just a hint of crackery malt in the middle. Finishes crisp and dry with notes of grass, cucumber/watermelon rind/honeydew melon.

F: Medium-full bodied, medium carbonation, smooth and full in the mouth, finishes a bit lighter with the lager elements. Dry and very drinkable.

O: Pilsner my ass. This is no pilsner. This is an IPL, (a New England style IPL, if you will) stupidly hoppy and fragrant with massive fruity and juicy flavors, but with the crisp finish of a lager. A phenomenal beer overall. World class.
