This unique India Pale Ale features our favorite hops—Simcoe, Amarillo and Nugget. A generous Amarillo and Simcoe dry hop provide for an assertive, hop-forward nose and front palate. We don’t use traditional bittering hops in our IPA, providing nothing but stimulating citrus and floral characteristics.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, light to medium golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma of lightly caramel pale malt, citrus and floral hops, orange, grapefruit and dried flowers; nice. Flavor follows, with citrus and floral hops, grapefruit, tangerine, faint light stone fruit, a hint of pine and light flower potpourri. Moderately bitter finish with citrus rind and a bit of pine. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. One of the more floral IPAs I've had and I liked this element of the hop bill more than I expected, as it's usually subdued and more pleasant than I anticipated. Although some haziness, the profile leans to West Coast and there are hints of caramel malt, which is always a plus to my taste. I'd like a little more assertive bitterness, but its more than satisfactory. I was surprised to see I had reviewed a "Farm Island Brewing" IPA about 5 years ago that was apparently associated with this this brewery, which I also liked. I have a feeling it was something I found at Trader Joe's, so probably a contract brew from them. Oddly the brewery name has disappeared from here and I can find no trace of that IPA anywhere on the web anymore. Glad to see that they are still brewing nice IPAs.

12 oz can poured into a pint glass.
This reminds of a session IPA for some reason, despite a 7.1 ABV. Really reminds me of a Founders All Day IPA somehow. This has a bit of juiciness to it though. Nice color on the pour and nice lacing on the glass. Smooth, easy drinking.

Very bitter but smooth with more sweet bready malt that I'd expect--or, at least some configuration of hops giving that impression. Just like Peak's double IPA, this one's got these dankish, herbal, borderline chocolatey notes overpowering the citrus. One of those east coast / west coast fusions where you can't really pinpoint one single flavor. I'll agree with other reviews that it feels kinda thin, but I don't care, I drink beer to taste it, not to smell it or "feel" it. Pretty good.

12oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $1.99. Best by 2/21/23. Fortuitous because that is today's date! I would guess that this is 4 to 6 months old.
Look: Pale straw color with a significant haziness. A pinky finger of compact, fluffy, white head.
Smell: Very nice grapefruit, orange zest, and pine aromas. Mild green notes. It has both a brightness and an earthiness to it.
Taste: It's tasty. It also seems to me that this beer tastes a bit watery and is under-delivering for a 7.1% IPA. Up front, I get juicy grapefruit and some orange zest flavor. The finish has a moderate bitterness with nice grapefruit rind and pith flavor as well as some pine resin. Crackery malt after the hops and bitterness fade away. The beer also tastes very one-dimensional and I was hoping for more complexity.
Feel: It's very fizzy and it has a medium minus bodied mouthfeel. A bit watery on the palate. I wonder if this beer may have too much carbonation.
Overall: This is good, however I don't enjoy it nearly as much as the other Peak Organic beers I have had (The Juice, Fresh Cut, Slim Hazy, and Summer Session). For a 7.1%ABV IPA, Peak Organic is capable of bringing a lot more flavor than this.

Pours an opaque straw color with a finger of head. The nose has piney and mildly dank notes. The flavor has light citrus notes. This offering is thin for the style.

Pours the typical copper color. Head was very bright white that left a nice ring of lacing. Nose is very fragrant. Taste was piney and gave off superb bitterness. I like this a lot.

Standard IPA leaning towards the west coast style. Easy drinking.

Peak organic does IPAs really well. This is crisp and grapefruity, really refreshing. I also love their Winter IPA but this is perfect for summer. While at 7.1% it’s not a crushable beer; I love it as a summer regular. So drinkable!
Adding on that the 23 IPA is amped up on fullness and flavor- definitely a winner

This one pours a slight hazy dark orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like piney and spicy, and pretty old school, with a little bit of citrusy character.
I didn't have high expectations for this, but it was honestly pretty good. It's old school, with a clean pithy bitterness, lots of grapefruit and orange, and very little maltiness.
This was crisp and very clean, with a nice drinkability.
I haven't had anything from Peak in multiple years now. This was nice, and reminds me of how much I used to like their hoppy pilsner - Fresh Cut.

Slowly becoming a big Peak Fan...After the Slim Hazy, Superfresh and the Autumn IPA, this one follows in wake. This IPA brings a Sweet Nose and above average juicy flavor. Surprised and delighted.

Beautifully hazy, straw colored beer. Think the color of a Hefeweizen. Huge head with tons of lace.
Piney hops, kind of reminds me of the Sierra Nevada aroma found in their pale ale and several of their ipas. Buttery undertones.
Oily, piney hops, delightfully bitter in the finish. Not very complex, but nothin wrong with simple hop flavor.
Mouthfeel is the weak point. Low carbonation and a little slick feeling.
I picked it up at Trader Joe’s and had never heard of the brewery before. I would definitely get it again as a part of a mixed sixer, but I won’t be buying any six packs any time soon.
Not bad!
