A summertime IPA. A traditional summer wheat beer marries a West Coast pale ale. Locally grown wheat provides a complex mouthfeel and Amarillo® dry hopping gives a citrusy aroma.

Pours a hazy bright wheat color with a nice fluffy head of white foam. Scent has a nice citrus-y aroma along with hints of tropical fruit notes (almost a guava or stone fruit). Taste matches well with notes of lemon, tropic notes, and a bit of hop to cut against the sweeter notes. Feel is light, crisp, and refreshing -- a great combo as we move into summer months.

12oz can purchased from the fridge from a local bar/bottle shop as a single, don't recall the price. Best by date of 10/11/21.
Look: Very pale yellow straw color with a very faint haze. A very compact-bubbled head clinging to the rim of the glass. The head seems to regerate and be retained nicely after swirling. Looks like a nice, refreshing summer crusher.
Smell: Nice aromas - some lemony, grapefruity citrus and a bit of fresh-cut grass. There are some green notes here too - green bell pepper - which I don't often get with low ABV beers like this. Getting some of those wheat beer aromas of banana and bubble gum as this opens up. Smells pretty nice.
Taste: Up front, it has characteristic flavors of a wheat beer - some estery and phenolic notes of banana and bubble gum. Then there is a bit of lemon and some grapefruit pith and peppery notes on the finish. There is something chalkly about the flavor on the finish, which is odd because it seems like it is fresh enough. Finish has a lingering bitterness with notes of earthy pine, grass, pepper, and grapefruit pith.
Feel: It has a light to medium body with the right amount of carbonation.
Overall: I have really liked everything that I have had from Peak Organic so far - The Juice, Fresh Cut, and Slim Hazy (review forthcoming). This one may be my least favorite of the bunch, but it's still pretty good. To me it's good, but I prefer the flavor profile of the other beers that I have had and have found those to be more impactful than this one. I would want this to be a bit brighter and a bit juicier for me. I think that I'm also not the biggest fan of a hoppy wheat beer in this style, but it's a good summertime option. Also, I think that I would characterize this beer more as an American Pale Wheat Beer than an American IPA.

Pours a bright, hazy yellow with a moderate amount of carbonation, inch thick white head that dissipated quickly. Smell is hops up front, dank aroma. The taste is hop forward, piney, citrus notes, very mild malt sweetness. Light bodied beer, very easy drinkability. Overall, a good light IPA.

Picked up at Trader Joe's back on Long Island while home for the holiday. Pours a healthy straw color with a cloudy body and strong lemon twang in the nose along with some pleasant bread notes and solid lace for the style.
More bitterness thrugh the sip than I was expecting, with a little spice among the wheat. Ths isn't really my thing, but I can see the appeal and that it could be refreshing on a hot summer day, but the extra bitterness seems likle a strange fit.

Poured from a can.
A nice solid session IPA, with classic citrus resin hop aromas and taste. A tasty crisp bready malt base lends enough flavor while keeping the bitterness in check. Light body and refreshing for summer.
Great!
