This is the purest hop beer I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Fresh Cut is the perfect moniker. No fruity aromas, no spicy notes. Just....dank....hops. Yessssss

Canned ~7 weeks ago.

L -- Pours a very slightly hazy straw color with a two-finger white head produced with gentle pour. Minimal retention and some lacing.
S -- Mild grapefruit, grass, pine, and papaya
T -- Pilsner malts and grassy hops. Simple and straightforward. The overall character is definitely improved by the dry hopping
F -- Light mouthfeel. Medium+ carb. Very drinkable, but a little watery on the tail end
O -- Nice New England-made pils

Pouring a cellar temp can into a snifter. The beer pours a little hazy but sits in the glass a bright clear golden hue. A fluffy bleached white head of 3 cm foams up even with a very gentle pour. The foam fades quickly leaving large pockmarked craters on the surface and some windowpane lattice on the glass.
The aroma is fairly mild with some pilsner malt and a bit of grassy hops. Also a little bit of spiciness but overall a little underwhelming on the nose.
The first sip reveals a light crisp textured body with very fine and tingly carbonation. VERY easy to drink this beer.
Flavor is a brief bit of biscuity malt which rolls to rindy and spicy hops that linger with a little bitterness long after each swallow. No booze to be found at any point and at 4.9% this is probably a pretty easy session beer. Id want a little more on the nose to bump up my rating but overall it is fine for what it is.

had this out of the can. 4 months since canning. this is a very light beer. the look, smell and taste are all very light. It does have a fresh taste and finishes clean. if you like a very light beer this could be a good option.

Bottle from Shelburne Tap House. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a soft semi-hazy transparent yellow color. I poured fast to yield some head and so there was about a finger’s worth and that dissipated at a nice pace. Stringy lacing here and there. The smell had some soft spicy to semi-sweet grassy hops over top of a light cracker malt backbone. The taste copied the smell pretty much the same way. Semi-spicy aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sesionability about it. Carbonation feels good, semi-low with a nice cut from the spicy to grassiness hitting my tongue nicely. Overall, for a pilsener, I liked it. I’d say it leaned towards the Czech style, but then again, could be the yeast as well, since it is Peak Organic.

L: Clear straw with a huge pillowy white head.

S: Lemon, pink grapefruit, pine needles, grass, honey, golden bread crust.

T: Lots of juicy lemon and pine grapefruit, a little bit of yellow grapefruit peel bitterness, white bread and honey in the middle. Grainy minerality with a touch of metallic bitterness. Finishes clean and lightly bitter with residual grassy notes.

F: Could stand a little bit more carbonation, but light and easily sluggable. Crisp and refreshing.

O: A solid pilsners that tastes like it uses American C hops. Comparable to Founders PC Pils.

I don't know if I got the best batch made or what, cuz this is one hell of an American pilsner! Bright and clear straw color with a fluffy white head, bursting with citrus orange and grapefruit aromas. Flavor is semi sweet, a bit buttery, and full of that same citrus. Fresh, clean and balanced feel with a light, juicy, yet dry and mild bitter finish. So easy to guzzle down. This is a great light beer that will gladly occupy fridge real estate. Cheers!
