On cask at The Eagle, Hoxton, London.

Glowing lemon with sudsy film that rings. Fresh lemon rind on the nose with maybe some crusty loaf.
Melon and crackers with citrus twist hops.
Lemon candy end and lean, slightly tingly linger. Crisp, round, some chew.

Actually a good bit of sweetness without being biscuity and cleaner than some, I suppose. But still a bit lost in a sea of quenching blondes that inspires yawns. I’m getting pretty tired of seeing 3 or 4 of this style in every London pub.

Actually a golden ale - note to BA, please add this style!
