12 oz. Can. 5.1 %abv. this time.
I cannot believe I never reviewed this from back in the beginning on my craft journey.
Looks: Clear Pale gold, whispy white foam cap, settles around with some nice lace.
Nose: Light golden malted grains, wheat and light barley with some earth tones hops underneath. Slight pine and white bread too.
Feel & Flavor: Light and crisp, the top fermentation English yeast has a ton of character, wormwood still? I've always enjoyed the English, funk in the yeast with it's light and clean feel. Clean is also a major characteristic of the flavor's, the Hops are earthy, dank, wet earth and pine, but also husky and old school. The malted barley and grains bring a very traditional balance.
Overall: It's going down really easy. "Pairs well with adventure". I like that.

Pint from keg at The Chambers, Gloucester. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of American hops, citrus, pine, hints of tropical fruits. Nice flavour of a moderate amount of American hops, with the same elements as in the aroma. Very refreshing, but a little more bittering hops for the finish would not hurt.

Amber color with a thick thin head.
Aroma with notes of grapefruit and malt sweetness.
Likewise, flavor with notes of grapefruit, mild pine and malt sweetness. Dry aftertaste with a medium bitterness.
Light body with appropriate carbonation.
Generic citrusy APA with grapefruit notes slightly piney. A bit bland though, made for UK market.

I think thin is the right word. Way too light for any pale ale and it just doesn't taste very good. Not one that I would get again.

Pours to a permanent half inch head that laces moderately. Color is slightly hazy gold-yellow. Aroma is sweet and toasty malt and floral hops. Flavor is sweet, toasty and floral. Slight citrus note. Perfectly balanced and easy to quaff. Mouthfeel is light-medium for the gravity. Overall a clean, easy drinking east coast APA.
