Best by October 2012 (just in time to sip during football season):
I may be one of the last reviewers of this beer as I was told when I bought a 12 pack at Shipyard today for $9.95 that this beer will be discontinued.
Into a pint glass:
A: very clear golden yellow body that gave an off-white half finger head. Minimal lacing spots the sides of the glass.
S: some caramel, vanilla, and malts up front with the hops taking a back seat.
T: pretty much the same with some butterscotch that came in ever so slightly.
M: medium with nothing bad on the tongue. It had a good mix between wet and dry. I would say this is pretty drinkable. The ABV was hidden well.
O: this is pretty good, I'll be sad that I won't ever see this again, but I would say despite what others have said that this is a decent English IPA because the malts are in front of the hops (the hops are there, one just has to take note of it). I will definitely savor the next eleven of these.

Appearance: pours a hazy orange color with a 2" head. Some spotty lace develops.
Smell: very fruity with a soft floral hop presence.
Taste: caramel, orange, pears, golden apples, and a mild floral bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Crisp from start to finish. Aftertaste is short lived.
Overall: this is more like a pale ale than an IPA. Very easy to consume this beer, that leans more towards the fruity side than hoppy.
