750 mL bottle. Black body with an enormous khaki head. Smells of roasted malt and chocolate. Tastes of brown malts, chocolate, roasted malts and chocolate. Back end has just a hint of acidity and mineral flavor. The slightest bit of peppers. High carbonation. Medium body, pretty light for 7.5%. Nothing over the top, just a very well made porter.

Pitch black with a nice 1 inch off-white head with lots of lacing.

Intense dark chocolate aromas. some smoke aromas are present too.

In the mouth there's also lots of chocolate upfront. Smoky finish and some sweet coconut flavors.

A little bit spicy on the tongue, I Iike it.

Decent porter. Chipotle is there but light. Cocoa less present. Too carbonated. Some roasted malt, a bit of vanilla.

Smell of dark coffee, chocolate and spice. Taste begins with light coffee and hops. Follows aromas of moka and smooth sugar. Flavours are balanced. Good roundness and low carbonation. Long and sweet bitterness dominated by the chocolate. Nice beer, very tasteful

Bottle: Poured a black color porter with a huge dirty brown color head with nice retention and some good lacing. This bottle was indeed a major gusher as mentioned previously by other raters. Aroma of cacao is pretty intense with light chipotle flavours also noticeable. Taste is a very well balanced mix between cacao with light dry bitter notes with some lightly spicy notes from the chipotle. Body is about average for a porter with incredible carbonation which could be toned down. I quite enjoyed this one and liked the fact that the chipotle notes were more dominant than what I had previously tasted in the draft version.
