Served chilled in a tulip. Lively pop. Effervescent head with pale saw like colour. Crisp, clean, nicely carbed tart Berliner. The melon was a delicious and very subtle natural compliment. Refreshing at 3.9%. Thoroughly enjoyed this beer. They should make it as a summer staple!

A- Pours a very pale, hazy yellow that is very effervescent. 1/4 finger fizzy head that dissipates rapidly living behind a very lively liquid. The amount of activity reminds me of a champagne.
S- Melon rind, lemon, and a touch of acidic funk.
T- Sweet melon, lemon, and a lip puckering tartness. Little bit of a hefeweizen-like wheat presence.
M- Light Body and fairly high carbonation. Prickly and effervescent. The tartness also helps the beer to be refreshing,
O- This brew is in fact the first Berliner Weisse I've had, as well my first Sour beer in general. Very impressed with what this brew offers.

What you notice first is the amount of carbonation and how fizzy it is. Nice light straw in color.
I come out from a cold so maybe it's me but the smell is pretty underwhelming, notes of citrus and yeast, but it doesn't smell much.
In the mouth, a good fruity flavor right off the bat with a really nice acidic sour finish with citrus flavors.
Really nice mouth feel, perfect as far as the style goes in my opinion. Really fizzy on the tongue and with a nice medium bitterness.

On tap at the Farmhouse. Hazy yellow body. Smell is lots of wheat and an interesting hop aroma. Underripe melon with some grassy notes. Taste has a bit of lime tartness. Lots of wheat. Some hops, but mostly wheat. Very light tartness. Very light body. Not a very aggressive berliner. Subtle flavors all around.
