In the same parking lot as WF, across Hwy 29 from the mall. Easy to miss, though.

Small selection of beer, all to the left side of the store. One small cooler, with the warm beer wrapping around the wine selection to the rear of the store.

I always hit this store during a beer run as a complement to the other stores in the area. I always find at least one thing that no one else has - today it was Stone VE 08.

Prices are in line with the rest of the area and the bulk discount helps on top of that. If someone is going to WF, it's well worth the walk across the parking lot to check out what is in stock here.

Here's the suburban installment of Market Street with its downtown sibling (and its title), definitely more of a focus on wine - I'd say 80-85% here. Beer is in the back left corner. Not a huge selection - actually it's relatively small - but decent things - locals, Belgians and good national names. Not a whole lot of crap by any means. Place is clean and well-organized.

Service is friendly and cordial. When I got there the shop was empty - the gentleman at the counter was outside having a smoke. I told him not to worry and to finish his smoke but he was courteous and went back in the shop to answer any questions I may have. By no means necessary but appreciated nonetheless.

Prices are in line with most area outlets - $9 for a 750 of Brooklyn Local 2.

Good place to snag a bottle or 6er or something on the way home.

The selection is nowhere near as good as Wine Warehouse or the downtown Market St Wine Shop. The service has always been succinct and the prices are higher than pretty much everywhere else. They do only carry craft brews and the inventory is well cared for. Can be a good stop for convenience, but Wine Warehouse is just up the road... It is not distinct enough from Whole Foods next door selection or pricewise to warrant a stop generally. That all being said, there is nothing wrong with this store and they do carry a good number of craft brews.

Good, though not as good as the downtown location. The beer selection seems to have dwindled a bit in recent years, but you can get good choices from the West Coast and Pennsylvania, along with a decent selection of Virginia offerings. They usually have a nice selection of Bells beer, though very little else from the Midwest. There are a handful of Belgian and other overseas offering, though nothing to get all excited about. The cold case is quite limited, so expect to have to get the best stuff warm. The service is a little cranky compared with the Downtown Mall location as well.

As mentioned already, next door to Whole Foods on 29. The selection is a fair bit smaller than what may be found at Wine Warehouse or the downtown location, but it's still reasonable, regardless.

This store seems to have a few more 'gift pack-type' items... boxed packs of 3 or 4 beers with glassware, particularly in a few Belgian styles. If a glassware collector, that could be a good thing, though nothing would be particularly rare or unusual, and the downtown location does carry some, as well.

I only give it a "bit pricey" because it seems to be a little higher than Whole Foods next door in a few things, and strangely, the prices are quite often higher than downtown. Nonetheless, it's a decent store, and I do make a point of visiting from time to time.

Nice little wine store with a small but good beer selection. This place is in the building right next to the Whole Foods market. There are two shelves and a cooler in the back. Id say about 50+ different beers, and all are good quality ones. Good selection of belgians, seasonals, and standard craft brews. They seemed to be well tended to, no dust, no way out of season beers either.

I even found a hard to locate Flemish ale here and some DogFish Head 120 min. Also some fresh Legend brews from Richmond in the fridge is always available. Over all a good place to visit for craft brews.
