Thanks to Donkster46 for the trade!

Serving style : 12 oz bottle poured into glass for appearance etc

Appearance (4.75) : All I gotta say is this wins an award for the messiest beer I've ever had. The head is so freaking enormous that it flowed over the top of my glass. I'm measuring about five inches. That's insane. FIVE.

Oh yeah, the body is a perfect amber color, it looks great.

Smell (5) : Sweet honey notes with cheerios (honey nut cheerios?) and some good spice. Green and black grape. Some fresh watermelon or cantelope. The smell is fantastic on this beer. I can't help it, it's a five.

Taste (4.75) : Good gravy, this is like the best amber I've ever had. It's so smooth, so succulent, so...right on the money. No off notes, perfect finish. It's got that beautiful mildly sweet wheat taste and all the spice comes together just like it should. It's just stupid good.

Mouthfeel (4) : Carbonated, watery, and dry. Ends bitterly dry in a GOOD way. Nice.

Overall (4.21) : My heart is aching that I only have ONE of these and I can't get them anywhere. I'll have to message my friend Donkster and ask him to send me more of this beer. It's quite simply fantastic. Am I drunk? I don't think I could type if I was. This beer is really, really good. No lie. Near perfect amber ale.

It was…bland? Boring? It’s not BAD. You can drink it. Light malt, bittersweet finish. But I get the feeling if it wasn’t for the overabundance of carbonation, this would have been really bad. It wasn’t just light carbonation—it was exploding out of the bottle, making you feel like you were going to explode, too, carbonation. I wouldn’t seek it out again.
