Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tumbler on 01.28.14.

A: Yellow with a 1/4 finger head.

S: Banana, bubblegum, citrus, orange. Smells like an otter pop.

T: Peanut butter dominates. Lemon, orange are there too.

M: Smooth.

O: I think that I got an old beer. There was sediment on the bottom. Maybe it was unfiltered, but it was so uninteresting, I don't care about checking. They don't date the bottle, so whatever. It had very strange flavors for a blonde. I would not recommend this one.

A - Poured a pale golden yellow, slight cloudiness. One-half finger that stayed around.

S - Mixture of hops and malt, slight hint of citrius.

T - Bitter flavor, acidic taste and aftertaste. Not much balance with the hops, slight metallic taste to it.

M - Decent mouthfeel, on the light side.

D - Once was enough.

First had: on tap at their brewery

Review #500!

A decent blonde ale, which is not really my thing. Poured into a sampler glass, a clear golden yellow with a small white head that didn't stick around long. Sweet malts and grains in the aroma, mildly herbal. Pale malts in the taste, bready, lightly toasted, with grassy hops in the finish, for a slight drying effect. Light body and pretty well balanced. Again, not my style, but quite drinkable if it is your style.

This beer doesn't lack in carbonation. Perhaps that should be an indicator. It doesn't have much of a smell or a flavor that can be written about. It is also blonde in color with a huge white head that leaves volumes of sticky lacing.

I poured this average beer into my tumbler at 45 degrees. The beer was a nice normal beer color and poured a nice big head. The beer had a slightly hoppy smell. The beer was a little cloudy and don't know why. At first I thought I was going to like the beer. In fact i wrote "yes" on my notes which means I would buy it again. But by the time I finished the beer I changed it and wrote NO. It just started tasting bad. i will not buy again.

Pours a dark gold, almost no head. Smell nutty caramel, fairly strong for a blonde ale. Taste is malts first, a bready taste with almonds, caramel, a substantial mouthfeel and drinkability is average, the taste is pleasant enough but a fairly flat sweet brew. Not my thing.

06/18/05- Had on an Alaska Airlines flight from Seattle to Billings, MT.

Presentation- 22oz bottle poured into a 8 oz plastic cup. YEHAW! Didn't check the bottle for dates.

Appearance- Light golden in color, a small ultra white and creamy head. Light lacing.

Smell- A tad fruity scent, but overall nothing special.

Taste- Mild hops and grains. Maybe some citrus rind in the mix. Rather blah.

Mouthfeel- Slightly watery and thin. Medium to lower carbonation level.

Drinkability- Have had several better blondes than this...beers included :)

Bottle to Pint

Thanks to my father in law for the birthday present.
Purchased at Total Wine, Rancho Cucamonga, CA

App- Bright golden yellow with a two finger head and some nice cling. Lots of dancing bubbles from the bottom.

Smell- I get lots of lager yeast, some faint malts, zero hops. Not offensive just a little light and unassuming.

Taste- It's a grainy, lemony, honey, spritzy and herb taste. They don't all play well at the same time but try. It's a run of the mill blonde ale that will help some people drink craft but won't draw a ton of people in.

Mouth- Light bodied and highly carbonated. Leaves a bit of herbal, citrus zest not.

Drink- I applaud my father in law for trying and not just getting me a gift card for beer. This will appease some with some better this macro flavors but not by much. I probably won't come back to this one.

Semi hazy yellow color, little head or lacing. Faint cracker aroma, and just a bit of flowery aroma. Light malt flavors dominate the taste, with very little bitterness, not much else. Rather thin and flat mouthfeel. Not much going for this beer, not overly impressed.

Has a nice, strong malty aroma with a firm overtone of orange and hints of yeast and hay. It pours a clear sunny yellow with a thick and fluffy white head that disappears rather quickly. Flavor is malty, crisp and a little fruity, with just a whisper of hop bitterness - not complex, but still refreshing. Texture is smooth and fairly fizzy, a teeny on the thin side.
