On tap at the brew pub. Pours deep golden with fluffy white head and soda like carbonation. Aroma is of citrusy hops, bready malt and tropical fruit. Body is full and crisp. Herbal hops and spices dominate the pallet with caramel malt and tropical fruit in the background. Finish is long and very hoppy. Good brew.

Had a glass at the brewery. L; a little weak. Copper color. Not much going on, Very little head or lacing. T: Taste is interesting. Peppery bread. Hops are light for an IPA. M: Not much carbonation so a little heavier feel. Took a growler with me, but went flat quickly.

as generic as a rye ipa can be. clear caramel colored liquid with an inch of pure white head, but the beer itself looks almost still. the rye is light on this one, not as spicy as some, but adds some depth of aroma and flavor without being overbearing. the hops are in the English family feel, without too much citrus or alpha acids happening, it came across a bit uninspired to be honest, not that anything was off or not tasting good, just that the beer seemed to have very little life to it, both in terms of mouthfeel, which was undercarbonated and a little heavy as a result, and in terms of creative vision. a nice cascade dry hop would whip this into gear for sure, but as it stands a passable session beer if you don't want too much rye spice.
