A two-storey mock-Tudor pub nr. the heartland of the posh Bond St. shopping area. I've been there several times now, and every time I was there, there were at least one interesting guest microbrew--Not this time, but it still manages to sell 4 real ales (Deuchars IPA, Young's Waggle Dance, Adnam's Broadside, and GK Old Speckled Hen) on its single bar, with average+ quality.

Plenty of dark wood-work inside and cosy side sitting areas, giving one a impression that it might have been a true old pub; contributing to the atmosphere are the metal-framed glass-windows decorated with dispersed pieces of "primitive" stained glasses~~ It's a pity that the first-floor bar is no longer used (only reserved for private functions), otherwise it could've been a really well-functioning pub with two bars serving such a compact and cosy space. The service is not bad at all, with friendly (&pretty 8-)) French+Polish barmaids trying to serve a decent pint. But quite often one'll find the bar unattended, as the gals have to rush to perform other functions (e.g. waitering for diners) as required by the landlord.

All in all, this is not a bad pub at all, but what else could attract one to this part of London, if not for Burberrys, LV, Hermes, or Gucci etc.?
