This is a pretty nice liquor store, and a very nice liquor store if you're into cigars, as there is a nice, walk-in humidor. One thing that I really liked about this place, and I realise that most liquor stores cannot do this, is they have two beer coolers. The one on the right, is all BMC, and of course, gets the most traffic. There is one on the left in back of the store, though, that has all the good stuff. Goose Island and Bell's were easily the best represented here. In fact, I think they had 6 and 4pk offerings of nearly everything these two make. A 15ft length of shelving held a decent selection of bombers and corked and caged 750mL's. 1 - 5 representations from 3F's, Allagash, Stone, Avery, DFH, Bluegrass, the typical stuff such as Duvel, Unibroue, Chimay, and a handfull of things I had never heard of or couldn't readily identify. There is also a singles rack around the corner for broken 4 and 6pk 12oz'ers, which I liked. However, at around $32,00 a 4pk, they would NOT break a 4pk of DFH World Wide Stout, which aggrivated me a little. Nevertheless, this is a decent place with a decent selection. If I lived here, I'd probably shop here regularly.

I've written two Better Business Bureau complaints in my life, and one was on this place (specifically on the lady who used to own it). This was circa 2006.

Fast forward to the present...

Atmosphere: Wow, the place is now organized! No more boxes of beer on the floor and shelves strung haphazardly throughout the store. The store itself is located near one of the busiest intersections in the entire city of Evansville (near Eastland Mall shopping plaza).

Quality and Selection: To be honest, despite the polished look of the interior, they had much cooler beers back in the day. Still, they had a few Upland, FFF (not as much as I'd like), Bells, Founders, and other goodies in here, but nothing that you can't get at much better stores in E-ville.

Service: That old lady was not there... Thank God!

Value: I don't remember anything being out of the ordinary here, and the macro stuff was pretty cheap.... if you're into that type of thing.

Cleaner and more organized than it used to be, but I miss the shock value of finding a rare beer in a disheveled store. In short, I miss the good old days!

This is the place that got me started drinking things other than mass produced American lager crap. They had a nice selection of stuff I'd never heard of and couldn't pronounce.

I used to stop in and buy 7 or 8 cases of weird beer, and despite dropping a couple hundred bucks, the help was never very friendly. I believe the place is now under new ownership or at least new management because the old hag that owned it either died or went crazy.

It's a clean looking place with lots of beer and spirits. They have a good selection and their prices are in line with other establishments in the area.

The store is located in a small strip mall (not really sure you can call it that as it is only three stores) and if you are not careful you could miss it. Upon entering, it is rather dark and the woman behind the counter immediately barked for ID. No big deal but seemed a little unnecessary. The seleciton and variety was good. I think that they had about every variety of Sam Adams, some Goose Island, Bell's, Rouge and some others in 6-packs. They had a decent selection of bottles, about 3 racks, with some stuff that I had never seem before. I thought some of the beers were overpriced, but I still picked up a few none-the-less. I will probably go back when I am in town.

I have purchased many cold beers from Kwik Liquors over the years, but never again will I EVER set foot in this store again! Recently while in to buy some FFF and Dogfish Head the old super bitch owner decided to give me major attitude for simply looking in an opened case of 22 oz DreadNaught that I was about to purchase! She yelled at me "Don't open that box!" I tried to explain to her the box is already open, and I want to buy several and wanted to know how many were left in the case...She would have none of it!! She read me the riot act about "her store was run correctly" and she didn't care how much money I was about to spend!! Needless to say I set the beer down and walked straight out the door!
Never have I been treated this poorly by any retail establishment!!

Saw this place on BA and went there. The place is kinda tight to walk through because of the massive amount of stuff they have there. Selection is very good for the area. Bought some bell's, Rouge's Samuel Smith's and a couple of imports that dont come to mind. The only problem i had with this place was the older woman that works there. She was arguing with a customer for 5 minutes about him accidently either dropping or knocking over something. She wasn't the nicest person in the world. Other wise i love this place for its selection. Hopefully i will get back here so to enjoy more of there selection.

This is a must stop for me when I'm in town visiting family. The SUV gets loaded with Stone as well as others that I can't find in Saint Louis.

The selection is very impressive for a liquor store in Evansville. Most others have the A-B, Miller, etc. and the occasional Sam Adams. (usually out-of-date)
They carry the full families of Goose Island, Bell's, Sierra Nevada, Stone which I enjoy.

The prices are decent. No real bargains, but nothing over-priced. I've yet to purchase anything old which I attribute to good turnover.

Highly recommended.

Noticed the sign on the building that said microbrews so I popped in to see the selection. Rogue, Stone, Allagash, and others. Decent selection. Lots of beer coolers and a larger selection warm on the store floor. Pretty good store layout, easy to get around in and find things. Average service. There aren't tons of stores in this area with a wide selection so I'll be glad to add this store on to my list of shopping places. The beers I purchased here were fresh when I consumed them (at least the one's I have consumed so far). Glad to see another store in my area that offers more than fizzy yellow water.

One of the better places in Evansville, for beer. Rogue, Stone, Bells, Sierra Nevada, Allagash, Unibroue, Founders, all the major players. Decent selection of British, German, and Belgian imports, along with diverse other countries. Three Floyds represented only by Gumball Head, and an occasional case of Alpha King. I've bought some stale beer at this place, so beware. I've had excellent servie here and good packaging, but am not satisfied with their overall service. There are better stores in Evansville, for service and freshness.
