One of the better smelling beers ive encountered. Floral elderberry (without over powering like MagicHats) mixed with some resiny citrus like hops makes for a nasal and oral explosion that follows through with a medium pale body and smooth finish with a pleasant saisony aftertaste that dissipates quickly. Werry werry well done brew.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipated. Light messy speckled lacing glosses around the glass. The smell starts off with some sweet lemon, gathers up some sweet floral qualities melts into tropical fruits and then allows some dry piney notes to blend. The taste was moderately sweet with an underscore of dry pine, combining and running into the aftertaste and then bleeding into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good for the style and for me. Somewhat sticky sweet piney character soaks my tongue. Overall, I see where they got the name, its definitely one that drinks like juice.

Pours a golden straw color with a decent sized white head, fades at a fast rate with little lacing on the glass, slight haze to it.

Smell has a nice floral aroma, strong in hops with scents of pine and cut grass, sweet malt in the background to counterbalance, not sure what elderflower smells like but it's likely in that floral bouquet.

Taste is light and refreshing throughout, hops hit right away, mostly pine and citrus, as it fades the sweetness of the malt comes through but not overly so, carbonation is quite ample but very very soft in the mouth, a very easy summer drinker.

On-tap 4/20/2015 at Track 84, in Warwick, RI served in a tulip glass.

A: The beer is a light gold color, with a short white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains citrus, Belgian yeast, some spice and light caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out with some mildly sweet flavors of caramel, spice and citrus. Then a decent hops presence for the style comes in. The light malt character and Belgian yeast breadiness brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly hoppy.

M: Crisp and a little smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is dry and slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, decent representation of style, it’s not a bad beer but there are better options within the style.

CBC makes some solid beers, and unique styles, so hopefully this is fun and well done, for a hot muggy summerrrrr... I mean spring night.

Pours a huge fluffy 2 finger creamy head that fades at a med to slower pace, thick and creamy leaving some messy lacing, crystal clear golden pale color.

Nose is nice, bright and floral, mild zesty citrus hop notes, nice citrusy and fruity hop presence, quite floral and flowery with straight up elderflowers in there, a little berry like boisonberry or elderberry thing, nice spices thanks to Belgian yeast esters in there, and hints of some phenols as well, a little bit of a golden sweet malt profile as well, and hint of a tart lemony presence.

Taste brings sweet malts out front, not really sweet just seems like it will be, with golden malts, toasty and light malty in general, a little wheat creamy feel and toasted wheatgerm almost. THen flowery, elderflowers and a dandelion like presence, with the Belgian yeast kicking in right behind it, mild esters with fruity notes and some mild spices, hint of phenols that fade like they were just a distant memory to start with. Quickly hops wash over, with mild lemon zest, little citrusy, and more mild generic berry fruit as well as a hint of citrus mostly lemon zest, the esters seem to bring a little pear skin and apple notes. Hops bring a touch of vinous grape skin notes late, with a little more lemon zest and touch of spiciness, finishing with a mild bitterness which was lighter than I expected as it seemed to be building up, mild dry but sticky finish, pretty quick finish too.

Mouth is med bod, a bit soft, with nice small bubble carb.

Overall pretty interesting, about what I expected all around mostly. Elderflower didn't overpower thankfully, nice Belgian yeast profile with fruity esters of apple pear, and mild spices even, decent lemon zest, nice berry notes, a bit of malt even coming through, and nice blending of the Nelson hops to marry it all. Pretty enjoyable for a hot summer day I gotta say.

Pours lightly hazy straw color. Nice white head that fades quickly. Smells of grass. Taste is nice. Light hop flavor up front with a soft Belgian yeast biscuit. This is a beer I'm really diggin for summer. My new favorite ( until tomorrow).
