My first try of Cambridge brewing's wares.Poured into an imperial pint glass a deep copper with a tight formed half finger slight off white head.A mix of earthy and piney hops in the nose, deep brown sugar maltiness underneath.Sharp piney hop notes upfront on the palate with more of the earthiness coming into play, light booze and brown sugar are there as well.A nice big red alot of pine and earthy hoppiness.

Very malt-forward and a pronounced nuttiness that was not expected. A pretty good beer overall, but I've had others I've enjoyed more.

S: Toasted malt, grapefruit, some caramel.

L: Hazy red, off-white head that dissipates, some dusting.

T: Toasted malt with a very prominent grapefruit and orange rind and hoppy backbone. Medium high bitterness, fairly bold malt sweetness. Finishes with additional hoppiness and slightly sweet malt. Ends semi-dry.

M: Medium-full body, quite smooth, medium carbonation.

Not bad, quite bold for the style.
