Enjoyed at the barley wine festival. Reviewed from notes.
A - Poured into a snifter a hazy honey hue with a thin thin head that faded slowly to leave a light halo.
S - Aromas of light sweetness, very little grape. Rather bland with incredibly faint barrel notes.
T - Taste is lightly malty sweetness, faint honey, grapes are very light. Super faint barrel, light caramel.
M - Mouthfeel is really thin, little boozy on the finish.
O - Overall this was decent but the nose and taste are rather muted. Even more so when compared to the other offerings of Arquebus that was on tap.
