Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a nectar-influenced, cloudy honey color; sports a one finger cap that leaves sheets of lace behind
Smell: Biscuity malt with floral citrus tones
Taste: Biscuity malt followed through mid-palate by a sugary tangerine hop; balanced but bitter after the swallow with a fresh floral finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with smooth carbonation
Drinkability: Amazingly fresh tasting floral hoppyness; perfect for the change of season as we head into the springtime

P: Hazy straw with an enormous foamy head. Impressive lacing.
A: Hops, lemon, yeast.
T: Lots of lemon, resin, floral bouquet, malt, hops
M Light to medium bodied, decent bitterness, decent carbonation.
O: Pretty much a decent old school IPA. I guess you don't need high dollar and high alcohol to make an impressive brew.

Serving: On tap at the brewpub
Served: 8 May 2015
Appearance: Pours a crystal clear amber color with nice carbonation coming up from the bottom of the footed pilsener glass crowed with a solid one finger, pearly white head. Leaves good lacing.
Smell: Huge floral and citrus hop notes, without much else to pick up on.
Taste: Smooth hoppiness throughout the sip- first starts quite citrusy and then transforms into a more herbal/floral character. Malts don't add a ton to the flavor but serve to carry the beer across the palate. Finishes on the sweet side. A great IPA.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with high carbonation. Got a bit flat at the end.
Overall: A good IPA, but one that fails to distinguish itself from the pack. By no means a bad beer, but a beer that doesn't stand out in the crowd of other CBC taproom offerings. Recommended, but only as a second or third beer.
