On draft at CBC on Monday May 10, 2010.
Deep red/brown color. White head, minimal lacing.
Smells very sweet and pleasant.
Tastes and drinks like a Flemish Red mixed with some apple notes. A little too tart for me.
Easy drinking, interesting beer. Glad to have tried it, it was unique.

On tap in a flute at CBC's 21st anniversary shindig. Resolution pours a dark, dark brown, with no head or lace to speak of. The smell is an enticing blend of caramelized sugar and belgian spiciness. Taste is almost cider-like sweetness up front, with a hint of the aforementioned yeast influence. The beer finishes very tart, a welcome twist on the style. The mouthfeel on this beer is good, not too creamy, but could use a little bit more carbonation. The alcohol is well hidden, and this beer is pretty drinkable.

Tried the new seasonal at lunch today. It's described as a Belgian Special Ale. Comes served in a tulip glass. Minimal head and lacing. The color was a dark brown. I would describe the taste a spicy and with a sharp bite of caramelized sugar. I would say it's description falls somewhere between a dubbel and a strong ale. Very drinkable for a slightly high abv brew, this beer was great on a cold day with a meal.
