A: Poured from a bottle to a tulip glass. Had an orange color and a cloudy consistency. There was an inch of foamy, long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.

S: A strong aroma of fruit, hops, and yeast. Very enticing.

T: Tasted of lots of light fruit (pineapple, mango, citrus), Belgian yeast, sweet hops, a little malt, and some spices (pepper especially). A little higher hops content than you would usually expect in a Belgian IPA, but this isn't a problem. It's a complex, focused, delectable flavor.

M: A lot of carbonation here, with a hoppy, bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

O: A tasty, somewhat unique and American take on the Belgian IPA. Well made and easy to drink.

Bottled 3/11/14, poured into a tulip

A- pours a hazy pale golden-yellow color with a small creamy white head that retains nicely, a bit of lace sticking as it settles

S- sharp peppery and spicy yeast on the nose up front with some basement must and faint cheese. The hop bouquet is a mix of fruity and citrus hops, with notes of mango, lemon grass & guava

T- big blast of tropical hops up front with notes of pineapple, mango & pear. Spicy Belgian yeast gives some nice musty notes with flavors of white pepper, coriander and light phenolic notes. More fruity hops on the finish with a linger of orange peel and fresh grass

M- medium body and carbonation lead to a foamy mouthfeel and a creamy smooth somewhat dry finish

O- the tropical fruity hop flavors worked very well with the spiciness of the yeast. An outstanding Belgian IPA.
