Poured in the CBC Beergarden during the 24th Anniversary.

No head from this cask-condition pour. There are some fine intermittent bubbles on the surface. Some these do stick to the glass briefly. Cloudy. Dark gold color.

Strong grapefruit citrus aroma.

Served around 50 degrees (10 Celsius), this a hop bomb. Bitter and peppery. The alcohol is notable, but in the background. Low carbonation naturally. Full bodied as well. Long bitter orange rind aftertaste.

look; golden, slight orange hue, thin head, nice lacing
smell; floral hops, sweet rolls, a little alcohol
taste; floral hops, grapefruit, lemon, grass, malt, full flavored, nicely balanced, doesn't taste even a little boozy, finishes as crisp and hoppy as it starts
feel; smooth with some bubbles, crisp, medium body
overall; a crisp, full flavored lawnmower ipa if you have a small lawn, very nice

I didnt detect any distinct aroma of a typical IPA. The grapefruit, pine , resin aroma just was not there.
My first taste and immediately I thought of a cream ale. Smooth, soft and creamy. Much like a French Cremant sparkling wine.
The taste was enjoyable and it had a distinct taste of fresh cut grass.
The aftertaste was a bit disappointing, very short finish. But it did have that nice dry finish which I love in IPAs

I found this IPA to be very pedestrian. Good, but not great, in all respects.
