Enjoyed at the barley wine festival. Reviewed from notes.

A - Poured into a snifter a hazy honey hue with a thin head that fades to leave a creamy halo.

S - Aromas of faint honey and malt sweetness. Light caramel, super faint rye and vanilla, very soft barrel notes.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, good marshmallow notes, nice malt sweetness, light caramel and fruits. Some spicy rye, light light bitterness on the finish.

M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated with the alcohol hidden quite well.

O - Overall this was a solid beer. That being said there really was not enough rye going on in this barley wine as it lacks some of the barrel depth as well.
