I had the pleasure of visiting Cambridge Brewing company for the first time on a recent trip to Boston with some friends. We made our way here after Kate the Great day and I had been anticipating coming here since I missed checking Cambridge Brewing company last year after EBF.

The atmosphere is pleasant with a spacious dining room and bar area with view of the fermenters from the table we sat at - They have a huge mural on the wall with some celebrities, the brewers and fictional characters as well as locals to the brewpub. There is a cooler with the possibility of growler fills and a large room and capacity for group seating which is nice.

The quality of everything met all expectations
the food and beer were served fresh and general quality of the experience was good - the service was adequate, but not really overly friendly or going above and beyond -We were treated well and the orders were accurate without any long waiting.

The food was excellent - I had a great burger and the fries were delicious as well, we were all pleased by how fresh and well prepared the meal was. The beer selection is pretty stellar with 4 or 5 standards and a great list of seasonal/special taps including Red Barn Coffee stout, Blunderbuss Barleywine, Bier de Miel and Weekapaug gruit.

The value was decent, not cheap but a very good value for what you get - I was extremely pleased I got to stop here and I hope to be able to return again soon it is one of the best brewpubs for beer/food I have been to recently.

Every thing you'd want in a brewery next door to MIT. Must see. Beantown stout and all their fragrant pale ales FLY!
Try their extensive menu and enjoy the brainy university crowd. A bit of heaven. I'll always return here. Spacious bar.

Went here for my birthday over the weekend. The space is in this mixed space building area next too a BBQ restaurant, offices, and the Friendly Toast. The space itself is pretty small relatively. Some tables in the front, a bar area, and tables in the back. Although my party and me were able to be seated quickly on a Saturday night, the small space made the entire restaurant and bar area quite loud.

The bar menu seemed to have over a dozen CBC beers offered with a medium-sized bar menu. I had the 4 sampler flight that offered the Great Pumpkin Ale, Soleil Couchant, Commissioner Gordon, and Brett Sematary. I also had the BBQ bacon cheeseburger, which had an excellent BBQ sauce flavored with their pale ale. Our server was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable.

Overall, I enjoyed this space despite its tight quarters.

Nice little spot with great saisons and an amazing Flanders. Food looked good (didn't eat). Solid brews and nice folks. Underrated.

I've been on here on multiple occasions that attract different vibes. I don't think this place ever gets that tense I need this beer vibe, but it will get crowded at some of the big events. Most of the time, it's pretty chill, especially when the patio is open and people can spread out more through the space. It's a comfortable place to go. I would rate the quality of the beer to be higher than the quality of the food and the quality overall somewhere between. The service is good and attentive, though at those big festivals, they can understandably be over-stretched. The selection for both beer and food is good. You have a great mixture of dark and light, lagers and ales, hoppy, sour, and farmhouse. It's ever-evolving and CBC probably has the best portfolio in terms of breadth in the state. The food likewise offers you appetizers, salads, soups, seafood, heartier entrees, pizza, and burgers. There's something for everyone. Some of the food is average but others are phenomenal.

Overall, CBC is one of the best breweries to visit in the state.

Vibe: It really depends if you're inside or outside. The outdoor patio rocks- it's big and looks great. The tables and chairs are comfortable and it generally isn't too loud. Compare this to inside where you need to shout across the table just to be heard.

Quality: The beer is fantastic, always, and the food is of great quality as well. Nothing too special by any means, but not shabby either.

Service: Typically just fine. Nothing to write home about.

Selection: Always have a good number of brews on tap, including an on-cask options typically as well. Really makes it easy to enjoy samples, small sizes, or some pints. I love ordering the towers since they look ridiculous, but are a great value when you want to share some stuff with some friends.

Food: A bit pricey, but normal by brewpub and Cambridge standard. Good options, verging on gourmet for some people. Everything I've gotten here has been good.

V: I really liked the look and feel of this place. The contrast of function and work with dining and leisure. Its set in an old building that must have been restored into a restaurant. It had class while at the same time was comfortable. really cool all around.
Q: I had the pilsner and the barrel aged imperial stout (forget the name but it is very recognizable). Both were top notch.
Ser: Our waiter was awesome, incredibly knowledgeable, nice, and all around just a cool guy.
Sel: Menu didn't have a bucket load of choices but it had a pretty decent selection. So finding something you like should be too bad but there is some limit.
F: Food was unbelievably good. Got the skirt steak, with potatoes and brussel sprouts. Was so fantastic

Definately will be back at some point.

When I first found CB I was in love with the place, finally a place that did not subject me to Bud or Miller. For many years I was a major supporter. But now there are lots of microbreweries delivering quality beers and CB no longer meets the standard.

Loved CB for many years, now I walk a few more blocks to Slumbrew.
