Bottled on 1/22. Poured into pint glass.

A: Nice, clear gold color with a thick white head. Lasts a long time. Pretty good looking, actually.

S: Lemon/grapefruit zest, grass on the nose. Notable biscuity malt also present. Bit of spiciness, as well.

T: Spicy, earthy hops up front. Shades of citrus zest, but nothing sweet. Pretty dry overall. Familiar SN yeast and malt profile. Bit more citrus and bitterness on the back end.

M: Appropriately easy drinking. Light body, medium carbonation...really easy to toss these back.

O: Lagunitas, Founders, Boulevard, Great Divide (you get the idea) have all done better session IPAs. This isn't bad by any means, but it's stacked up against hefty competition.

From the 4-Way IPA 12 pack.

A- Huge three finger fluffy white head. Copper-colored beer with steady carbonation and a clean, filtered look.

S- Citrusy and grassy hops, sweet malt. The aroma is pungent and resinous and there's some grapefruit or orange peel in there.

T- Earthy, grassy and floral hops, grapefruit peel, the beer is slightly fruity with very little malt taste.

M- Light and crisp like a pilsner, bitter and dry, but there's a slight sweetness and creaminess.

Well, I could make a habit of drinking these; they're very light, refreshing and easy-drinking, yet there's a ton of aroma and a damn good flavor.
