Smells and tastes slightly of budweiser. Overly bitter for the amount of hop flavor there is. There is a little bit of citrusy flavor, but it's mostly masked by the taste of budweiser. Can't think of many redeeming qualities in this beer.

Look - golden orange color with a slight head and lasting film. pretty transparent but some type of dirty sediment even though the beer was bottled less than a month ago.
Smell - lots of citrus and some orange
taste - doesn't really taste like a pale ale more of a hoppy lager with some orange
feel - medium body with some creaminess with medium carbonation
Overall - ok but I'll probably never get it again. Could be good during the summer time though when its hot.

Light amber color with no hazyness. Head quickly disapates to a small wispy ring. Smell is refreshing. Wow that orange comes on strong. This is a great spring/summer beer. Refreshing and easy drinking.

Looks light golden amber with a medium white foamy head. Smell is very sweet orange citrus dominant. Taste is OK, isn't too sweet, moderately hoppy noticable mostly in the bitterness over the taste. Citrus is noticable all around but not super sweet overpowering. The mouthfeel is fairly light. Easy to drink quickly. Overall it is a good beer. I feel like it would be better for warm weather and sunshine. Low alcohol and light body allows you too drink them quicker while they are still cold.

12/29....pours reddish amber with white foam lid and lacing. Tasty toasty malt nose, slight hop pokes through. Bready toasty malt flavor, light bitter creeps in and then closes out. Fast finish. Simple. Good beer, certainly not the most dynamic SNBC offering.

12 oz bottle from the shop at the NC brewery; served in a lager glass. Bottling date: 11/2015

Pours with a clear brown-amber body and a very large, durable, frothy, off-white head. No sediment.

This may say "amber ale" and have a corresponding appearance, but the hop dominated aroma suggests an APA or IPA. While the flavor has a higher malt/hop balance, it is still not what is expected in a typical "amber ale". Mildly bitter with a near medium body and lively carbonation.

Overall: comes across as an English/American Red Pale Ale.

Scored at the SN bottle/gift shop in Chico.

Nice red appearance, a little brown in there. Aroma was c hops and minimal sweet red malt, stays away from that peat bullshit.

Taste was smooth, prolly only 35 ibu, mild hops, floral, citrusy. Another good red ale from Sierra Nevada.

On tap at The Banshee

A: Pours deep amber with a creamy tan heado that settles and laces well.

S: Caramel malt with floral and citrus hop notes.

T: Sweet toasted malt, citrus hops, some grapefruit, a bit floral, and a little pine.

M: Medium body , moderate carbonation.

O: Not super special, but very drinkable. Session nicely with my burger.
