Nooner is our take on the classic German-style pilsner—one of the original session beers. Nooner is easy drinking yet packed with the big flavor of spicy and floral whole-cone hops.

Purchased in the Fan Favorites VP.
Look: Beautiful golden complexion with a very nice head.
Smell: Not much here, just some malt notes.
Taste: Bland, under flavored, and the only thing keeping from getting scored lower is a good bitterness that comes in and mixes with those malty notes.
Feel: Light, crisp, clean, everything you would want in a pilsner.
Overall: Really just an uninspired beer. Sierra Nevada could have easily elevated this brew but instead settled on it tasting like a macro lager. I would not recommend it as a standalone, but the IPAs in the variety pack make up for this dud.

12oz bottle purchased from the fridge as a mix-a-six pack for $13.99. PKGD 06/20/23, so this beer is just over 5 1/2 months old.
Look: The beer has a great clarity, with a light to medium gold color. Very nice carbonation steadily climbing up the glass. There was one to two fingers of frothy white head that eventually reduced to a thin layer.
Smell: The beer has a very nice lemony, grassy aroma. It smells bright, crisp, and clean. There's also a nice crackery malt with a subtle honey sweetness.
Taste: Mmmm, that's tasty. It's a chugger. The taste mirrors the nose pretty nicely, and it has a nice bitterness with a long finish. The beer has the nice lemony, floral flavor. It finishes crisp and dry and it is very flavorful.
Feel: The beer is relatively light bodied, probably right in the middle between light and medium or a bit closer to medium bodied. At the same time, this beer has a fullness for its size. Crisp and dry mouthfeel.
Overall: I like this a lot. It's a very nice pilsner with good flavor and a good balance of hoppiness and maltiness. And it's very drinkable.

From the Fan Favorite 12 pk, bottled 8/01/23 .
Translucent gold, with moderate white head.
Smell is sweet toasted grain, straw, & honey.
Taste is more-or-less same as aroma, with some noble hop spiciness. Moderate bitterness.
Feel is light, with moderate, sharp carbonation bite.
Overall, a (seemingly) simple, standard thing, done well.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pours yellow orange with a small white head. Smells of sweet grain with a hint of wheat. Tastes of sweet grain and slight wheat and fruit. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

I found this one in the fan favorites 12 pack. It's a solid easy drinking pilsner. All those classic pilsner notes. It's not the best pilsner on the market but definitely worth trying

Bright clear golden color with a modest but lasting white head that manages some nice lacing.
The aroma is fresh bread, new cut grass and black pepper.
The taste is lightly sweet up front, fresh bread with some apple and lemon notes. The finish is spicy, grassy, floral hops with a nice peppery note, mild but nice clean bitterness.
The body is light, crisp, very easy to drink, good carbonation level.
Altogether, this is a very nice summer cooler, but good enough for a session any time, goes very well with most food, particularly spicy fare.

12 oz bottle poured into a pilsner glass. Look is clear light gold with a white head that falls to a thin cap. Lively in the glass as carbonation races up through the body. A bit of lacing left as you sip. Smell is bold as bready malt, earthy, spicy hops, and a bit of black pepper leap out. Taste is sweet bread up front, then a bit of bitterness kicks in with the hop spiciness. The finish has a bit of apple/pear rind, and an almost flint like character. The finish is fairly clean in the end. Mouthfeel is light bodied, crisp, very inviting. Carbonation cleans up the palate nicely. Overall, this is a fan favorite for a good reason. It can be as complicated of a beer as you want; drink it fast without a thought, sip and contemplate the different components, either way it delivers.
