German Pils brewed with Two-row Pale, Pilsner, Munich, Acidulated malts. Bittered with German Perle and finished with Saphir, Tettnanger and Strisselspalt hops.
5.2% ABV, OG=11.7P, FG=1.9P, 38 IBU's.

Purchased as part of a mixed 12 pack. Pours out to a brilliantly clear straw golden, forming a rocky meringue like white head with beautiful retention and solid sheets of lace thanks to it's brisk carbonation, ~3.0 carbs or so. The nose is clean, with delicate noble hops sitting on top of a soft saltine cracker malt base, subtle DMS and sulfur (which I like in Pils), no skunk or off notes. Mouthfeel is brisk and clean with a piquant light to medium bodied mouthfeel. Taste opens with floral noble hops, followed by that delicate pils malt, then a beautifully balanced moderate bitterness in the middle which lingers into the finish. Soft hay notes and bone dry finish.

A beautiful pilsner, up there with lagunitas, Pilsner Urquell, Victory prima, bitburger, left hand polestar, and avery. Very well done. I wish this were available year round in my area, as I would gladly buy it again. Well worth trying.

12 oz. bottle poured into Willibecher.

A- Clear, pale yellow. White head is loose, and retains poorly. Little lacing is left behind.

S- Floral hop, a little grassy with a toasty grainy malt.

T- Light grain. Hops floral and a little spicy.

M- Light bodied. A little snappy/spicy finish. Also dry.

O- Decent. I think this is marketed as a session. A skosh high on the ABV for that, but still drinkable and true to the Pils style.

Served a straw color with bubbly white head. Smell of toasted grains, hay, light sweetness, crisp herbal hops. Taste is subtle sweet grains, doughy, light corn, and crisp herbal/ grassy hop tease. Easy smooth drinker.

Bought this at the Binny's store in Bloomingdale, IL as part of a build-your-own six pack for $9.99, making this single 12oz bottle. $1.67. I did not see any kind of freshness date on the bottle.

The beer poured a mostly clear pale gold color with a ½-finger white head that lasted a little over a minute. It left very little lacing however.

The beer had a very pleasant pilsner malt smell along with some floral and spicy hops and a touch of fruit.

This pilsner has a spicy kick to it. It's hop dominated although you can taste the biscuity malt as well as a touch of apple. Not sure if there is any ginger in here but it almost has that ginger ale taste to it. It has moderate bitterness at 38 IBUs, but I would classify it as more spicy than bitter.

Light and refreshing with higher than average carbonation which really accents the spiciness.

I found this to be absolutely delicious.
