Inspired by island life, we created an IPA completely disconnected from the mainland. We used our one-of-a-kind Hop Torpedo to deliver an intense rush of hop flavor and the lush aromas of mango, papaya, and passionfruit with every sip. Enjoy our tropical twist on the American IPA.

Had a fresh pint poured at a craft beer bar in Padova, Italy! Place called Birreria da Umbe. Lots of cool beer memorabilia and clearly a love for SN. Anyway, the beer itself is as expected. A well-hopped IPA with a tropical twist. Not as fruity as I expected, which is good in this case. Would drink again no doubt, but not a beer I’d seek out.

I'm not in a BJCP mood at the moment, so I'll leave it to others to provide detailed tasting notes, but this is a very solid beer. Very subtle, balanced, and quaffable with lower IBUs than "regular" Torpedo plus a tropical twist (I wouldn't mind even more of that in the nose). Great "lawnmower" beer for a hot day (although it's quite comfortable now, so I'm not swayed by a "just about any beer would be great about now" mood). I probably got this as part of a sampler case and would buy it again as a six-pack (but I've got hundreds of other beers to get through first, so I'm in no hurry). Keep in mind that it's not trying to be mango-infused NEIPA--just an "enhanced" semi-session beer, so don't expect to get blown away.

Tropical and refreshing. One of my favorite Tropical IPAs! Wish I could find bottles in my area as cans mess with the flavor.

4/27/22 at THE East Coast location in NC!
So tropical and fruity! This one sent my head in the clouds. Bitey on the first sip, fresh tropical papaya and pineapple. Sip, sip, sip! Great with the pretzel and beer cheese!

A nice change up to the Pale ale. Clean not too bitter IPA. Sierra knows Pale ales.

12 bottle, might be ancient
Was a big disappointment, with that name and the label and box-art, I was ready for a tropical hazy version of torpedo and instead got a rusty worse version of torpedo, like an off-batch they threw out with some fancy marketing to help it sell
Big oof

Nice looking beer. Golden orange color with nice 1 inch head which stick around for a while when agitated. Nose is hoppy, tropical fruit caramel sweetness. Taste guava and fruit initially followed by some strong hops. Slight carbonation, medium bodied. I like these types of beers.

De color ámbar, con una fina espuma de poca duración. Cuerpo y carbonatación media, y de textura aceitosa. Aroma a mango y naranja. En boca es refrescante.
