Bottled date of 12/08/16

Appearance - Pours relatively clear and golden orange in color with an off-white, near finger width head. Sub-par retention, resulting in a thin, broken layer of surface suds.

Smell - Surprisingly lacking. Faint peach, with even lesser citrus, spice and just a vague hint of bready malt aroma.

Taste - Flavor is a bit stronger than the nose would indicate, but not by much. Peach is the most prominent flavor here, as mild as it may be, but after that trying to find anything of substance takes some digging. Vague citrus, that could just be character from the peach, and spice. Slight biscuity/nutty malt flavor at the back-end.

Mouthfeel - Light-bodied with low, slightly tingly carbonation. Slightly watery finish.

Overall - I've never been a huge fan of Sierra Nevada as a whole (a few outstanding brews, others I find relatively average), but I've always respected their ability to at least produce a fair flavored beer outside of the 'Old Chico' series. Simply stated, this beer sucks. Funny, the bottle's description roughly jabs at the Budweiser commercial from two years back, but this brew tastes like something AB-InBev would have made to compete against the likes of a Sierra Nevada. 'Intenesly hoppy'? Who are they kidding?

Light bodied and easy drinking pseudo-IPA. Citrus and peach are dominant. Not quite as dry and crisp as would be desired. But the peach is subtle but present and well balanced. I like it overall, but not something I would seek out again.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into an IPA glass.

Appearance: Pours a bright amber orange. Moderate amount of bubbles and a big two finger off white head that settles into a thin creamy patch.

Smell: A juicy and sweet hop forward aroma with a scent of peach, citrus, and pine. Upfront scent of peach juice. Citrus hop scent of grapefruit, orange peel, and lemon with some pineapple. Earthy hop hints of pine and grass. Malt hints of caramel, grains, and cracker with yeast. A decent aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a juicy and sweet hop forward taste with notes of peach, citrus, and pine. Upfront taste of sweet peach juice. Citrus hop notes of grapefruit, orange peel, and lemon zest along with some pineapple. Some earthy and spicy hops with notes of grass and pine. Background malt notes of caramel, cracker, and grains with yeast. A decent taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate level of carbonation. Juicy, fairly oily, and drying on the finish.

Overall: A decent fruit IPA. Could of used a little more hop bite but whats there is solid.

I'm going to honest, I'm not a big fan of fruit additions in beer. It seems to be a rather puzzling new trend. With that out in the open, I'm keeping my mind and tastebuds open....just in case......

Hazy golden color with light amber hues. An average bit of white foam topping. Decent retention.

A very fruity and sweet-citrus hop aroma, the fruits really blend together, peach for sure, various reds and oranges. Fruity sweetness mostly.

The flavor is actually much more balanced than I had imaged. Soo glad it's not dominated by some peach juice thing. The Peach is actually very subtle in flavor. The big, sweet fruitiness of the nose does not cross over to the taste. Very mild fruity hops, sweet and tangy effect with a very crisp, snappy and clean malt. This brew seems like a wheat-based brew with mild fruity hops. The malt is light and crisp enough to be Hefeweizen but with a bit more fruity hop.

This is a very mellow, easy drinkin' ale that would be perfect if it was 90 degrees. It's currently 23 degrees. Still, pretty damn enjoyable.

Appearance: Cloudy amber, with a huge head of off-white suds and a nice line of lacing.

Aroma: Fruity hops, yes. The peachiness is subtle, but there.

Taste: Appealing fruity notes up front, with no bitterness at all. Peach flavors are subtle but a sweetness undercurrent becomes apparent before the hoppy notes kick in. Quite good, and another unique IPA experiment from the infallible Sierra Nevada.
