Notes:
Steeped in tradition, yet ready for anything—that pretty much sums up our Southern Gothic Unfiltered Pils. This hop-forward but light-bodied pilsner is crisp and drinkable, perfect for an afternoon on the porch or a night down at the pub. We left it unfiltered and raw to bring out its complexity and add a depth of flavor.

Looked like any other Pilsner at the start of the pour, but the addition of yeast towards the end made the pale golden body look atypically cloudy. The head was small, never rising to more than half a finger thick. The smell was absolutely fantastic,, and very true to the style in its aromas of cut hay, lemon, and fresh baked bread, The taste was true to the style, providing balanced flavor profile between spicy and earthy noble hops, and bready malt. The yeast appeared to add a bit of punch of phenols to the mid palette, before the dry finish, with accents of lemon kicked in. A pretty nice Pilsner, with some complexity, not usually found in the style.

Picked this up in Chico on my way up to Oregon for our week long camping trip this summer.
Pours a bright yellow with 1/2" white head, slight haze. Aroma drops substantial Saaz bitter hops in the nose, floral, grassy, good field of hops and grain kind of vibe with a sizeable lager yeast pushing everything along with it. Aside from some super dank IPLs, this is one of the best noses on a pilsner I've ever smelled.
The taste is equally pleasant. I mean, dude, this pushes hella weight Saaz hop and lager yeast wise. They didn't go for approachable Summerfest Lager, put a wedge of fruit in your beer angle here, they went big on lager. Perfect carbonation and levity to the beer.
They done made possibly the best lager they've ever made. Might be time to bottle this in addition tot he run on the canning line they did. Would crush 12 packs of this in no time.

Pours a fairly yellow, almost golden color with a thick, white head that quickly fades away to some lacing on top. Smell is lemon, sweet grain, and a little grass. Taste is with the nose, a little lemon, some sweet grain flavors, and a bit of grass. Crisp, clean beer. Overall, solid pilsner. Nothing redefining for the style but easy to drink and delicious.

12oz can poured into a pint
A- pours clear, then a slightly hazy pale straw color with a minimal head that leaves a rim of lacing behind
S- grainy, toasted crackers, amines of yeast, pilsner malt, floral grassy hops,
T- spicy floral hop-forward up front, the Lager yeast take over & unfortunately for me, dominate, thinkin’ Belgian rather than Pils. The finish is dry, and continues to be hop forward on the finish
M- excess carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a crisp dry finish
O- more yeast-fully amine bitterness than a traditional, but isn’t that what unfiltered leaves behind?

A: Fairly clear yellowish-gold bodied beer. Slight at at first pour but quickly went away. Enough carbonation to keep a few bubbles around.
S: Grain profile stands out in the beginning. A few lemon zest smelling hops balance out the grain smell to a certain degree.
T: Nice clean and crisp tastes. Again the grain is the predominant taste but the hops blend well with the overall beer.
M: Easy drinking pils. Clean and crisp. The beer doesn't have much complexity but is fine for the style.
O: Solid pilsner. Nothing fancy but fine for the style.
