Poured into a tulip. Pours a clear straw color with good carbonation and a fingernail head. Aroma is puckering sour. Taste is a puckering sour with a touch of hops on the finish. Light body and high carbonation.
It would've improved the beer if it was more hops. It was sour, not tart, and some floral hops would've done some good.

11/2/17...pours hazy gold, translucently so with scant tops of foam. Dry citrus bitter nose. Full tart, puckers, hints of wood and other bitters. Fruity mouthfeel, amidst the sours. Finishes quickly and retains the tartness.

Pours a clear gold color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of slight bacterial funk, hops, yeast, hint of wheat, pale malt, and slight citrus. Fits the style of a Berliner Weissbier. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is also a tartness and dryness. Tastes of slight bacterial funk, hops, yeast, hint of wheat, pale malt, and slight citrus. Overall, average appearance, good aroma, complexity, and body.

This is a beautiful beer... hazy gold in color with a huge, puffy, white head. The aroma is of under ripe fruit, apple and raw peach...and wheat grain. Wonderful tart taste. Medium dry and refreshing. I really liked this brew.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tulip

L: Hazy light golden pour with thin white head. Falls fast with a rim of lacing.

S: Funk and lemon... tart citrus and cut grass that's sat out a few days.

T/F: Light grains form the base... rather tart without being overly sour. Lots of lemon/citrus... some funk and grass... follows the smell pretty closely. Unripened baking apple... sticky on the tongue. Tart finish and aftertaste... lemon lingers on the tongue. It feels almost sweet as the sour fades.

O: A pretty standard Berliner-Weiss. Good quality, and if you enjoy the style you won't be disappointed. I didn't pick up much on the advertised hopping.

12oz bottle into tulip.

A: Pours a very light pale yellow with a fuzzy and thick bright white head that quickly faded into a thin collar.
S: Nose is bright lactic acid with earthy, herbal, and peppery hops. Notes of light, dry, crackery grains and a clean mineral quality.
T: Tart blast of lactic acidic up front with clean grainy malt backbone and mineraly finish. I get hint of golden fruits, pear, and maybe even sweet stone fruit. Mild doughyness. I get notes of lemon in the aftertaste mixed with some peppery, earthy spice. Crisp and snappy flavors overall.
M: Light body, drying, crisp, and clean mouthfeel with surprisingly soft and fluffy carbonation. Tartness is bright but quick.
O: Clean and easy to drink; light and refreshing. Was expecting more hops given the name but was pleasantly surprised as everything is rather balanced and integrated.

Golden color but virtually no foam. Sharp and acidic, mild vinegar flavor. I don't actually taste any hops. I think this would be improved by a dollop of raspberry jam, like they used to serve it in Chicago German bars.

Jeez, let's just dose it up with lactobacillus and see if it tastes something like a Berlinerweiss. I can't find any pleasure in this stuff but I'm afraid to pour it on the plants. From the 12 oz bottle in the mongrel Beer Camp pack.

12 ounce bottle poured to tulip glass
Sight: light amber, orange, medium foam that quickly disappears, some lacing
Aroma: aroma of yeast
Taste: Sour, low bitterness throughout
Mouth feel: good carbonation, tart, sticky, long sour aftertaste
Overall: Very good beer, not a fan of sour beers

Bought a variety 12-pack $23.99 from Tamuras
Smell of wheat
Clear golden color
Light mouthfeel
Medium carbonation
Tart taste like drinking straight lemon juice
Overall the worse in the box. Having a hard time finishing it.

Look: Pale golden and hazy with many small bubbles that forms a head that quickly disappears

Smell: Incredibly aromatic green apples, lemons, and grass. The aroma is quite nice and probably the best thing about this beer.

Taste: Cloyingly sour, in a way that prickles the tongue. More like lemon juice with a green apple backing.

Feel: The sourness is very sharp on the tongue, and isn't really balanced out by any sweetness which is the weak point of this beer. It does leave behind a finish of tart berries, maybe blackberry and a pleasant crackery taste.

Overall: Just very strange, maybe I'm not used to the Weiss style but I'm surprised anyone would like something this sour. And I'm actually a fan of Sierra Nevada's Otra Vez too. To me, this beer kind of lacks depth and body and its sourness is a one trick pony. Too sour for my liking.

Pale golden straw (SRM 3) with a fluffy half inch head that lasts a minute. No lace forms on the Browary Lezaisk Weisen glass, while modest sized random carbonation bubbles within the clear beer.

The aroma opens with apple juice and modest bay brine. Warmth brings out lemon/lime, straw, and freshly crushed grapes.

The flavor is tart top to bottom. Green apples lead to light sweetness and a hint of bitterness. Kiwi and lemon come out from middle to end. The finish is long and lemony.

There is a surprising hint of alcohol in this very dry beer. The texture is that of itchy nylon, while the body is medium with fizzy carbonation.

This beer served well after a long day of chores on a cool mid-summer afternoon. I imagine it would work equally well on a hot day with friends.
