Disappointed really. Take the awesome Pale Ale and make it hoppier and watery. Not for me.

If I wanted a light beer I'd get a Miller Lite. This tastes like a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (which I love) was cut with an equal amount of water.

19.2 fl oz pull-tab can purchased at Junior's in Austin, TX. Silver with black and gold flair. Packaged 02/27/18. The label does not identify a style or list ingredients.

ALCOHOL CONTENT 4.8% by volume
BEGINNING GRAVITY 11.4° plato
ENDING GRAVITY 2.6° plato
BITTERNESS UNITS 33

YEAST Ale yeast
BITTERING HOPS Simcoe
FINISHING HOPS Polaris, Comet
MALTS Two-row Pale, Acidulated, Munich, Pilsner

APPEARANCE: Clear vibrant copper body. Off-white foamy head. About 60% head 40% body in my pint glass. Generally appealing.

AROMA: Hops dominate, actually. Floral , vaguely tropical, herbaceous. Pale malts keep it balanced. Pilsner malt leavens it.

Aromatic intensity is mild.

Suggests a very assertively hopped beer for its relatively low 4.8 % ABV.

TASTE: Hop profile is assertive but uneven; I'm not real keen on the hop flavours in play here. Pale malts and pilsner malts keep the bitterness in check to an extent, but the balance in this is pretty shaky.

Floral, herbaceous, grassy. Finishes with a touch of crackly pilsner malt graininess.

TEXTURE: Smooth, wet, medium-bodied, well-carbonated, and unrefreshing. Approachable.

Not oily, gushed, harsh, hot, boozy, astringent, or otherwise problematic.

OVERALL: A hum-ho middle-of-the-road brew that's inoffensive and lives up to its meagre ambitions. It's drinkable and affordable, but it's not up to par with Sierra Nevada's best widely distributed offerings. I wouldn't knowingly buy this again unless I was really struggling to find a decent beer somewhere lacking.

Large 19.2 oz can in SC.
Pale, slightly hazy golden body with a decent white head.
The aroma is much more hoppy and fruity (citrus) than the flavor. although hops do linger on in the aftertaste. Mildly bitter.
Light body with medium carbonation.

19.2 oz can, PKGD 022718, shared with my father-in-law. Golden body with slight haziness and a frothy off-white head. Nutty, biscuity grain and grassy hops. Sweeter grainy malt up-front followed by grassy and herbal hops and some mild citrus. Lighter body, moderate carbonation, with a semi-dry finish. It's overall flavor is too sweet for me. This was a disappointment.

Appearance - The beer pours a lightly hazed yellow-amber color with a fizzy white head. The head fades very fast leaving just a trace of lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma is a mix of cracker and lemon grass with some hints of herb and floral notes.
Taste - The taste begins with a slightly sour lemongrass and cracker taste that create a base flavor for the brew. The lemongrass grows slightly stronger as the taste advances bringing more bitter and sour tastes to the beer. Along with the lemongrass increasing, there is a hop flavor of an herbal and citrus nature as well as some light floral tastes, leaving one with a slightly sour cracker taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body of the brew is slightly thicker for a brew of only 4.8 % with a carbonation level that is rather normal. I think I would have preferred a slightly more crisp body, but overall the feel was OK.
Overall - An alright brew, but I am not a big fan of the big lemongrass flavors. OK, but nothing that I find to exceptional.

Clear golden ale with a slight chill haze. Tall puffy white colored head.

Smells of fresh cut pine tree. Woody and herbal but it is all pine.

Starts out mild and slightly savory with a taste of pine board. Light flavored with a taste of minerals and water. Lightly bitter and highly carbonated.

Mouthfeel is on the light and highly carbonated side.

Overall, an OK beer but I would just as soon drink a SN Pale Ale instead.

Part of a 24-pack variety Costco $25.99
Clear golden color
High carbonation
Light mouthfeel
Slight sour taste, a touch of bitterness
Overall nothing special. Sierra makes a lot of better beers so no sense buying this one unless it went down to a macrobrew price point.

Pours almost clear straw/honey yellow with a thick white head that dissipates quickly with minimal lacing. Aroma is bready with some citrusy hops. Flavor is very lemony, not much else. Feel is clean, lightly carbonated. Easy to drink, great lawn mowing beer, but unimpressive flavor wise.

Pours a clear gold with one finger of soapy white foam, fades to a thin ring with not much sticking. Smell: lightly citric, pine and floral notes with crackery, lightly grapey, and otherwise generically fruity malt backdrop. Taste: lemon-lime, cereal grains, dilute lemonade, finish is grainy and tangy, sticky and slightly metallic.

Dunno, this is messy for a blonde ale. Definitely not something I'd pick to drink a lot of. Maybe instead have freshly brewed Summerfest available during actual summer instead of it being 5 months old by June?

.5l can from Brewers Haven. Bright golden, foamy head fades to dense creamy cap. Light aroma, grassy, grainy. Flavor is nice and smooth, bready, clean. Tastes good. Not big or bold, very simple.

Slightly hazy straw-colored pour, with light froth for the head. Trace of lacing. You can catch the aroma of bread yeast but not much else. The taste is a light ale, a little flat. It has a gentle touch on the hops. Not a bad beer, but if I'm hankering for a light drinking, summer beer, I will go for a better crafted lager.

From a can into a tulip glass. Smooth, balanced, easy drinking beer. Liked it quite a bit and would purchase it again.
