Purchased 19.2 oz can at Publix in SC low country; dated 060818.

Look: nice color, good-sized head upon pouring, lasting quite a while.
Smell: gentle hop scents.
Taste: very nice testing hoppy ale.
Feel: feels good in the mouth and going down smoothly.

A very nice tasting ale with great hop flavors. Not quite as heavy as most of SNs other offerings, but that's what makes it a BFD!

A: Poured from the 19.2 oz can into a specialty IPA-type glass. Body is clear yellowish-golden with a 1.5-finger foamy white head.

S: Nose is OK - some grainy malt, and some grassy, floral noble-type hops. Distant hint of skunkiness.

T: A bit of cereal grain malt, some straw, then a bit of earthy, grassy hops, with modest lemony citrus and basic fruitiness at the finish.

M: Definitely light, with a modest carbonation.

O: Not bad; like an ale/pilsner hybrid. Easy to drink without thinking about it.

Blah blah blah
All this talk about being obligated to leave a valid and thoughtful review.

Geeesh. . .

Not the best most well crafted brew but it is a solid 4 across the board. The 19.2 oz can is a valid and thoughtful package.

Pours a standard yellow color with plenty of head and carbonation. Smell is typical SN, piney. The initial taste is hoppy but mellows out and sweetens up at the end. There is only slight lacing on the glass. The feel is crisp and mildly hoppy. definitely a middle of the road brew.

Canned 3/13/18, a bit old but I haven't had it that long so it was old in the store I guess, shame on me, good beer for drinking while brewing on a hot day

Pours a mild fizzy head that fades at a med pace, bubbly lacing and small bubbly retention, crystal clear with a slight chill haze honey blond color

Nose not bad, some decent grassy floral noble like hops, a touch of fruity hops and citrus, faint faint malt

Taste brings a bit of bitterness out front, a little grassy earthy hops, then a mild citrus and generic fruity hops, a touch of sweet grainy malt, bitterness fades a bit as malts kick in, then bitterness ramps a bit more on the finish

Mouth is lighter bod, nice carb

Overall not bad, def a nice light session beer with a decent hop character that I could def drink gallons of at a party or something, much better than most light session beers out there

Pours a clear gold with one finger of soapy white foam, fades to a thin ring with not much sticking. Smell: lightly citric, pine and floral notes with crackery, lightly grapey, and otherwise generically fruity malt backdrop. Taste: lemon-lime, cereal grains, dilute lemonade, finish is grainy and tangy, sticky and slightly metallic.

Dunno, this is messy for a blonde ale. Definitely not something I'd pick to drink a lot of. Maybe instead have freshly brewed Summerfest available during actual summer instead of it being 5 months old by June?

19 Oz Can poured into glass
Look - Very pale looking, light yellow. Decent foam head slow to dissolve leaves lacing on glass
Smell - Right when i poured it out of the can could smell the dank hops, some bitter tropical fruits - lemon, pineapple.
Taste - I knew based on the ABV, this would be a fairly light offering. It is certainly light-body watery. Get some of the hop flavor but left wanting more. Tastes like a hoppy lemon ale, which isn't a bad thing, i would just prefer a more robust beer. Certainly drinkable, refreshing and better than an average beer that's for sure. Only medium carbonation.

I think BeerAdvocate gets the score exactly right on this one, a very light beer which is great for certain times but not something i would want often and the flavor isn't exceptional.
I will give this a grade of B+

Pours almost clear straw/honey yellow with a thick white head that dissipates quickly with minimal lacing. Aroma is bready with some citrusy hops. Flavor is very lemony, not much else. Feel is clean, lightly carbonated. Easy to drink, great lawn mowing beer, but unimpressive flavor wise.

Picked up this big ass can for only 2 bucks at the local sheetz. Into a deep mug.
A - Quite bright yellow fizzy but plenty of foamy head since my glass overflowith. Even as it sits I still have over a 1/2 inch of froth.
S - Surprised me at first how hoppy a blonde could be! Quite a distraction from the grainy muted sweet smelling takes on the style.
T - To me it's probably one of the better blondes I have had very nice citrus hop taste with the typical sweetness and grain from the style. Good!
M - Very light and well... Drink able! A bit too carbonated to chug but a very easy beer to crush!

Overall very impressed with this one. Can't say their are many blondes I would want to buy again but this one was amazing!

Pours pale gold color. Good clarity. Big white head with decent retention.

Fruity nose - mix of fermentation byproducts and possibly some tropical hops

Slightly sweet with a citrus fruit flavor element. Minimal hop bitterness.

Light body and medium carbonation.

Overly fruity in my view. Not sure how much the hops are contributing, but seemed like a strange hop choice for this beer

Poured from a 19.2 ounce can into a Shaker pint glass, "PKGD" date "042718".

APPEARANCE: pours a slightly hazy, light golden color with one-finger white head that quickly dissipated until a thin, broken layer of small bubbles remained, there is some lacing on the glass, lighter carbonation.

SMELL: earthy bread and slight citrus note.

TASTE: the taste follows the nose, a sweet citrus note up front and then bread and an earthy hop profile on the finish.

PALATE: light bodied and less than average but adequately carbonated.

OVERALL: just as advertised, it's basic, no frills beer in a can made for drinking, it's an above average lawnmower beer, I have never had a bad beer from Sierra Nevada, I consistently buy their beers and everybody knows they are one of the top brewers in the world. Sorry Belgium. USA! USA! USA!

Slightly hazy straw-colored pour, with light froth for the head. Trace of lacing. You can catch the aroma of bread yeast but not much else. The taste is a light ale, a little flat. It has a gentle touch on the hops. Not a bad beer, but if I'm hankering for a light drinking, summer beer, I will go for a better crafted lager.
