With Hop Bullet, we’re using a new technique, hitting the beer with a double-barreled blast of Magnum hops and lupulin dust—pure, concentrated hop flavor—directly into the tank to emphasize the intense pine and citrus flavors of classic West Coast hops.

This beer was the best tasting that I had ever had for its alcohol contents. It was as if I had drink 2 12 packs of the original Sierra Nevada in my personal opinion.

This is an interesting DIPA. Apparently when they do the standard DIPA recipe they alter it with a "ground" hop (think coffee) addition. The result is more of a single IPA feel but a DIPA ABV. Probably saves a ton of rehop time if I was home brewing I'd check this out, because it works and must be a faster brew as a result. The taste is really good. Not the best DIPA, but still very good. The light feel is a definite bonus over traditional brewed DIPA style. Sits well in your stomach and goes down easily. And flavor is quite good. I've had better ones in Oregon brewed the normal manner but for a more nationally available product this is great. Try it if you like DIPA brews it's pretty good.

Decent, three-finger head when poured from the 12 ounce can. It settles slowly in a frothy dome. Ample spotty lace which forms like rings on the glass. The color is gold, approaching dirty gold.

I can smell the hops as I fill the glass from two feet away. Intriguingly, once poured, I get a nice toasty malt aroma in the background. Far more balanced than most DIPAs.

Solid malt start but it disappears quickly. The hop isn't quite overwhelming, but it's strong--peaking at the swallow and the very start of the aftertaste. Long, post-swallow bitterness, almost weedy. The body is thinner than most DIPAs but the lower carbonation makes that work well.

Not super crazy about Sierra Nevada in general - I will certainly make an exception for this one. This is how a double IPA oughta be. It's crisp, clean, has a good punch, yet balanced all the way through. It's like Lagunitas little sumpin' with a kick. I definitely taste the hops, some citrus, some piney notes, and very balanced bitterness. Overall, you oughta give this a shot.

Pours a hazy pale amber with an ample white head that leaves a serious trail of lace.

Topical and citrus hops followed by floral notes malt biscuit and earthy and resinous pine.

Star fruit, peach, grapefruit, slight malt biscuit, earthy resinous undertones finishing dry with bitter herb notes.

Great summer IPA. Lighter and refreshing.

Slightly hazy golden color. Small head. Very little lacing.

Citrus, lemon, semi-sweet malt. Nose is faint.

Citrus peel, lemon, a bit of pith and a fairly sweet malt backbone. Lingering bitterness on the back end.

Easy drinking with a soft feel. Goes down easy.

Not a bad beer by any means. I wouldn't turn another one down but wouldn't go out of my way to find it.

A slightly hazy lemon-yellow brew. The citrus flavor of this brew stays with you long after you have drank it. It is an excellent brew that has a nice lingering feel to it. Even though it is a potent brew it does not leave you feeling over-powered after enjoying one.

Color is golden. Head was white with lacing. Head died quickly. Nose was lightly aromatic. Taste was full of hop flavor. Nice bitterness but not over the top. Abv is not evident at taste.
