Brewed with a double-barreled blast of Magnum hops and lupulin dust.

With Hop Bullet, we’re using a new technique, hitting the beer with a double-barreled blast of Magnum hops and lupulin dust—pure, concentrated hop flavor—directly into the tank to emphasize the intense pine and citrus flavors of classic West Coast hops.

Gold; orange rind + pepper; bread dough sweetness then pine, dried apricot + earth; minty end + clean finish.

BITTERING HOPS: Magnum
FINISHING HOPS: Centennial, Cascade, Chinook, Magnum, Crystal

Why Magnum? Makes for a dead nose + dull flavor - or lupulin powder just not all it’s cracked up to be. Or it suffered on the way over. Either way, underwhelming. Doesn’t drink 8%, at least.

Tried this at Eli Cannon's in Middletown, CT. Definite grapefruit and other citrus notes. Strong hoppy taste decent overall.

Nice golden colour, very lightly hazy. Nice creamy feeling, alcohol warmth. Head is whitish, creamy and discipating quite rapidly. Low lacing. Nose is alcohol, orange, orange peel , bitter citrus, surprising complexity that I can’t put a name on, some sort of tropical punch! Worth trying , but far from legendary. Nice seasonal brew.

Very smooth DIPA with tons of bitter zest and sweet mango hops flavor. I even drank this one with almost 5 months age on it "Bottled 12/27/17" and it still had plenty of hop bitterness. Good stuff!

Nice looking hazy, amber color with a lingering one-finger, foamy-white head. Inviting on the nose with strong hints of pineapple, grapefruit, lime, violet, mineral and honeysuckle. Punch in the front palate of honeysuckle, fauna, tropical fruit and golden apple, with a smooth back-palate finish of warm biscuit, green bell pepper and a hint of pencil shavings. I like the complexity. Not overpowering, good balance. Slightly prickly feel with a long finish. Overall a pretty cool beer.

Poured into snifter 9 weeks from bottling. Slight haze and no sediment. Half inch head with little lacing. Smells of tangerine. A bit mild in flavor to me for an IIPA. Great value find as I paid $9.99 for a six pack.
