Appearance is golden amber with a medium head
A beautiful complex hop aroma is alongside a mild but delicious malt
The taste flushes your mouth with hops, malt and alcohol in the background
this is a heavy IPA you want to chug, an awesome beer.

Pours a clear medium gold, producing 2 fingers of white, frothy, short-lived head that leaves a thin Jack Frost wash of lacing. Aroma is citrus & pine, pale & caramel malt, earthy floral/herbal with a pineapple hint. Taste is caramel malt, orange, grapefruit, pine & thin alcohol. Alcohol manifest more as bitterness & spice than warmth. Off balanced as it starts & finishes more hoppy than malty. Aftertaste is bitter, orange, resinous pine & alcohol bitter & lightly astringent. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation, peppery, slightly slick & lightly drawing.

Delicious DIPA with a sweet malt profile that compliments and balances the hops nicely. Worth seeking out.

Picked up two 12oz bottles ($2.10 each) yesterday.... Digging in today while watching some baseball on TV....

Pours a bright, medium golden color. Has a bit of haziness and some scattered, slow-moving carbo. Head is marshmallow white, fine and creamy. Started at about 1/2" but it has ebbed back to a thin covering, with nice lacing. Aroma has some light, toasty malt, but is mostly hoppy, naturally. Has some sweeter fruits, like apricot and tangerine. Body is medium, and it is light on the prickle factor.

Flavor also has some light, toasty action with a bit of sweetness. Added sweetness arrives in the form of more tangerine and apricot. Also has a bit of lemonpeel and pineapple, with a little bit of rindy bitterness. It's a bit dank and earthy at the same time. The finish is dry, and all sweetness has disappeared by this point, with just bitter lupulins hanging on the palate. Not bad, all-in-all. Prosit!

I gotcha off a single shelf from somewhere....it gets difficult to remember. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had booze and hop bitterness. The taste was not balance well and was not easy to drink. Leaned bitter and had boozy finish. The mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's ok.

Picked up a single 12 oz. bottle dated 2/27/18, because I have this perfectly rational fear of having too many hops in the house & them going bad….at least this one won’t.

The pour is a vibrant, clarified copper that’s pretty still. Smells odd – like hops that have been bio-engineered, a little stuffy & weird, if that makes sense. Attic hops. That.

Hop Bullet – with a name like that, you better bring your “A” game. This? It tastes just as strange as it smells. Musty & dusty, with citrus, honeydew, pine resin, & pine bark. Finishes sweet, with a weird, unpleasant muskiness that harkens to that skunk I met at the Renaissance Festival back in ’92. Gets worse as it warms. Struggling through this 12 ounces.

Not up to the standards of Sierra Nevada & a prime example of why I rarely blind-buy six or four packs anymore. Not a very good beer.

Not my favorite from S.N. But drinkable and decent. Pours light golden. Aroma of sweet malt and slight grassy floral hops. Flavors of a much bigger floral resionous. Rose, slight earthy hops with sweet malt. For a DIPA it's okay. Magnum hops are not known for their aromatic and flavor qualities but this beer highlights them as best as it can.

Poured from 12oz bottle marked with a 1/29/18 freshness date into a pint glass.

A- Crystal clear coppery yellow. Really light color for the style. Minimal head which quickly fades, leaving some sudsy lacing on the side of the glass.

S- mostly grassy hops with some lemon rind lurking at the edge. Malt is almost completely absent on the nose.

T- more bitterness than malt again here, with another hint of lemony zest.

F- really easy sipping, with some mild sticky resin feeling on the tongue

O- absolute middle-of-the-road beer here. I might be interested to try it on tap, but then again, there are a million big IPAs in the world today. This one doesn't need a second try.

Bought a 6-pack Don Quiojte $8.29
Strong citrus smell
Clear golden color with an orange tinge
Medium-heacy mouthfeel
Medium-light carbonation
Juicy flavors, bitter aftertaste, hides high alcohol well
Overall a good IPA that may be a little too easy drinking for the high Alcohol content.
