Pours a semi-cloudy light golden color. Two finger white head collapses leaving some frothy hilly foam on top of the beer. Nice sticky lacing is left along the edges of the residual head and glass.

Aroma has notes of generic tropical fruits, lemon, some lemon grass and a touch of oniony like notes.

Taste is rather light with notes of generic tropical fruits, lemons grass, lemon peel, bit of grassy bitterness on the back end.

Feel is light, drinkable, with some lively carbonation. Nice smooth profile to this beer.

Very solid IPA from SN. Not sure its a "hazy" IPA per se, but on its own merits as an IPA, its good.

A: A very hazy pale yellow in color with a white head.

S: Loads of tropical fruit, citrus, pineapple, and mango.

T: Lighter flavor than the aroma would suggest, still some tropical fruit flavors, but there is also a hint of herbal, and a touch of soap.

M: Light in body with decent carbonation.

O: Not too bad, but also not the finest they have come up with.

Pours a hazy, very near opaque, pale orange with two fingers of white foam. Head retention is good as is lacing. Aroma is tangerine and papaya with toasty, biscuity, earthy, doughy malts. Tropical fruits are a light blast at the front, with malts coming on in the middle and end. Flavor profile is tangerine, papaya, mango, and domestic orange. Biscuity, bready, earthy, doughy malts come on stronger at the end, although they still remain nuanced and folded into the hops well. Mouth feel is a touch grainy and mingles with a lightly crispy texture to form a refreshing beer. It has a medium thickness. Overall, very intriguing mix of winter warmer spices and hops, but it works to an extent. Novelty may have some dumping this one, but with a little forewarning, is a welcome novelty.

Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 12oz bottle.

Holiday Haze IPA brewed by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., with an ABV of 6.50% This New England IPA pours out of a 12oz glass bottle into a pint beer. The color of this IPA is a nice golden hazy color with a nice white head. There is also a nice amount of lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of the glass well. This is definitely a unfiltered brew, you can not see past it. The smell is rich with hop bitterness, mixed with a slight sourness an earthy grains and malts. So far , Holiday Haze IPA is a nice inviting brew. Now for the taste, it is Bold with flavors. You first pick up on the hop bitterness, then a nice sweetness. The ending is nice an smooth with earthy grains and malts. This is a well put together IPA. It is really hard to pick up on the 6.50% ABV in this brew, it is just that smooth. The body of the Holiday Haze IPA is a solid medium. There is nothing overpowering about this brew, it has a super nice balance to it. The mouth feel is Bold, Hoppy, Rich, Clean, Smooth, and Refreshing. Overall I am going to give this New England IPA a solid 4 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again giving the opportunity to. Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Did a real nice job with this IPA.

The latest variety pack keeps on giving some goodness...

The title of this beer pretty much sums up how I'm feeling post-Christmas and right before the new year. I will say that this was a solid and decent enough beer. Good coloration with a haziness to it, the smell was just about what you would expect from an IPA with a matching juicy taste. I liked it, looking for more and I know just the fridge where to find it.
