We're constantly brewing new IPAs looking for bold hop flavor. With this beer, our brewers thought it was so good that we decided to serve it straight from the tanks - unfiltered, unprocessed, and raw - to let all the fruit-forward hop flavors shine. The result is a hazy beer with modest bitterness and intense hop character. To some, making an unfiltered hop bomb may seem crazy, but to us, its a hazy little thing called IPA.

BITTERING HOPS: Magnum
FINISHING HOPS: Citra, Comet, Simcoe, El Dorado, Mosaic
MALTS: Two-row Pale, Munich, Oats, Wheat

Sierra Nevada is one of the beers from yesteryear that has a strong reputation of good brews, this one is definitely solid. These 12 pack cans are probably one of the best options for taking to a barbecue at a beach, can’t go wrong with these!

Purchased a 19.2 oz can off the supermarket shelf. Canned on Dec 23, 2023 so a few months old. I'll be honest up front, NEIPA is not my normal go to style, but I'm reaching outside my beer box and going into this review with an open mind. Did a moderately aggressive pour into a Belgian style glass, and achieved a nice 3-finger white foamy head. Looks nice in there, light goldish-orange in color and hazy (duh). Has good lacing on the glass as the head dissipates, indicative of a quality made beer. On the nose, wow! I should be at the beach for this one. Very tropical. Intense aroma. You get tropical fruits, stone fruit in there, and SWEET and juicy. On the mouthfeel and taste, I get some creaminess up front. Mid-palate I get that tropical and stone fruit sweetness and a good bit of pleasant bitterness on the backend that compliments the sweetness of this beer. Like a white grapefruit bitterness, and it hangs around for good while. This beer is very refreshing and drinkable. That 6.7 ABV is nowhere to be found. Again, this one is not my cup of tea but I know there are many out there who just love it. I'm more into European wheats, dubbels, triples, quads, porters and stouts, but I will not let my preferences interfere with rating this beer on its own merits. If I'm on a cruise or at the beach and this beer is available, I'd order it. It is a very refreshing brew.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours hazy orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of bright citrus hops with tropical fruit notes. Tastes of sweet citrus and tropical fruit. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

I know I have tried this beer before but must have never rated it until now. I am trying a pint of this beer off the tapper at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Mount Vernon, Illinois. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had subtle tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base with bitter pineapple and apricot presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

This is the one of the few IPAs I like because It does not taste like drinking a pinecone

The beer pours a white and creamy head that takes a while to dissipate. The beer itself is a slightly cloudy orange color that looks nice.

The smell is good. It has a strong orange note and a bit of cream that makes it resemble a creamsicle.

The taste is good. It has an orange note and creamsicle finish.

The feel is good. It has a medium body with a creamy texture and very little carbonation. It has a light acidity to it and a creamy finish.

Overall, this is a decent NE IPA and extremely drinkable than other NE IPAs.

Taste is more important to me than anything else, and I love the taste of this one. Going strictly on that, I’d say it’s the best of all the Hazy IPAs I’ve ever had.

My go to. Hazy but light orange, not brown. A hint of fruit. A hint of tin roof. Good clean buzz.

Not bad for a widely available mass-produced IPA. At least it tastes like a NEIPA, as advertised. It’s nicely finished and relatively hazy. I like that it comes in 12 oz. cans and has a lower ABV than similarly tasty craft IPAs. At a party, I would pick it from a cooler of other grocery store beers.

Pretty average and never really calls out to me, but it's fine, and you can find it anywhere, so that's nice. A decent-to-good high quality control beer that you can find on the moon is a good thing.
