Style: American IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 6.70%

Availability: Year-round

Notes / Commercial Description:
We're constantly brewing new IPAs looking for bold hop flavor. With this beer, our brewers thought it was so good that we decided to serve it straight from the tanks - unfiltered, unprocessed, and raw - to let all the fruit-forward hop flavors shine. The result is a hazy beer with modest bitterness and intense hop character. To some, making an unfiltered hop bomb may seem crazy, but to us, its a hazy little thing called IPA.

Serving: 12 oz can (“PKGD 060718”), poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Appearance: Pale, hazy yellow, with an impressive, sudsy white head and sticky lace.

Smell: Lemon and orange citrus, pine resin, and light bread.

Taste: Bright lemony citrus zest, clementines, tropical fruit (passion fruit, pineapple), pine needles, and light, cereal grains. Only gently bitter.

Mouthfeel: Light body with crisp, refreshing carbonation.

Overall: Very mellow, drinkable, juicy IPA, that’s almost not bitter enough.

Tasty NEIPA easily available in S Carolina. My house beer; buying cans at $7.99 a sixer.
Fresh tasting and easy to down multiples. My favorite Sierra Nevada offering so far.

Fluffy white head, very light pale yellow and, of course, hazy. Smell is cascade and centennial hops. Smell is orange and lemon peel with a hint of cedar. Taste is lemon and orange peel, slightly sweet. It’s bright and refreshing but retains a satisfying amount of mouthfeel. I’ve only had a few brews from Sierra but this is the best.

Poured 12oz can into snifter glass. 6.7% abv.

Appearance- Pours a goldenrod yellow, fluffy thick head with lots of lacing. And quite a "little hazy thing".

Smell- Toasted malt, orange peel, lemon

Taste- Sweet bread, orange citrus from a fresh orange, more so sweet than an acidic grapefruit citric flavor. Lots of flavor. Ends bitter but still sweet.

Mouthfeel- Medium heavy in body with active carbonation.

Overall- This would be a great beginners IPA. Not excessively bitter and obnoxious but sweet and easy drinking. Almost like a fresh IPA from a keg. This was better than I initially thought it would be.

Can from Hannaford.
Hazy light golden color with a good sized long lasting bubbly white head. Earthy and grassy with bits of citrus and tropical fruits and a sweet light bready maltiness to round it out. Pretty tasty.

A - Very hazy and yellow. Can not see through it at all with light. A little over a finger of head. Pretty good lacing.

S - Lots of orange with some grapefruit. A tiny bit of hop smell. Very citrusy and sweet.

T - Some hops, but very citrsuy. Quite sweet. A lot of orange. The after-taste is sweet, not bitter. Great for a person who doesn't drink a lot of IPAs.

F - Very smooth, not much carbonation.

O - A very good transition IPA. Very sweet, with a lot of orange. Not insanely hoppy, but you can tell it's there.

Moderate to high carbonation

A okay but not great
