Inspired by the classic cervezas served ice cold by the beach, we created our own take on those light and easy beers born south of the border. Sierraveza is golden and crisp, with a balanced malt flavor and a hit of floral hops that will have you calling out for another round.

YEAST: Lager yeast
BITTERING HOPS: Sterling
FINISHING HOPS: Sterling

Draft at the Taphouse. Clear golden pour with a light skin of head. Grainy, biscuity aroma. Taste is full, delicious, clean. Very smooth. Super delicious.

Clear and golden with a light dusting of white froth.

Lots of light fruits up front aroma-wise with lingering notes of grass and herb.

Even bigger on the fruit flavor. Has more fresh grassy notes, wheat, herb and even a hint of mint. Gets a not sweet toward the finish.

Light in body like a high-end road kinda light.

Of course it's easy drinking, but has more of a hop bite in the finish than expected. While I realize we're not rating beers on price, this is one helluva flavorful one that won't hurt the pocket-book too much. And these days, that is no small factor in any beer purchasing decision.

330ml can consumed with food at home, no notes taken, looked as clear as beer can be, lots of bubbles rushing up the beer, white head that quickly dissipated, all malt on the nose, mostly all malt on the taste, bready, maybe a hint of citrus fruit, honey too, it had a bigger body than usual for the strength and style, which was nice, highly carbonated, super crushable, took barely two sips and it was gone, really refreshing, beer claims to be an “easy-drinking lager” and nothing more, well it was certainly that.

Sierra Nevada continues to over-hop and this no different. I can see hop flavor in a lawnmower beer but this has too much. I love the brand but they have stuck with the decade long of trend of hopping everything all the way it's not that tasty.

Decent. Drinkable. A light and refreshing brew that reminds me of drinking PBR, Natty (a better version), or Rainier in college. It looks like an adjunct, too. It smells grainy.
