A: It has the perfect appearance of a pils. It has a rich golden color that is transparent, with a full white head and lots of visible carbonation. The lacing is very mild.

S: There is some European noble hop aroma along with the characteristic lager smell. I can pick up some grain scent and even some of the yeast. It smells very fresh.

T: It has a very well balanced flavor, without the hop or grain flavors being too strong for a pils, or overpowering each other. The hops have a light earthy quality, and there is the lager bite on the finish, with some light bitterness at the end. I can taste some of the yeast flavor coming through so it's not completely clean.

M: The mouthfeel for this is light but borders on medium. There is a light bitterness in the mouth that lingers.

O: Overall this is a nice alternative to many of the other standard pilsners available, and I enjoyed the beer.

Clear, full golden color in the Stella glass. Nice head to go with it. Light body but not watery. Toast and faint barley aroma. Long nose of flowery hops to go with the resiny hint in the flavor.

Pleasant balance of hoppy flavors with the malt. Crisp and tasty overall. This has a little of the perfumey flavor I associate with some Kolsch brews. A hint of lemon-lime soda. Extremely drinkable with a very nice hop hit without lingering bitterness. Finishes with a spicy taste.

2012 edition in the 12 oz bottle from Trader Joe's.

Pours a golden yellow, lots of bubbles and a huge white fluffy head which take a bit of time to die down.

The smell is malts,straw and grass. Smells like summer!

The taste is malty and like the smell has a grass like flavour. Very light.

The mouth feel is really smooth and light, with medium carbonation.

Overall quite nice,light and refreshing. Very subtle flavours but if you let it warm up a bit, it becomes very enjoyable.

A - Golden straw in color with lots of tiny and big bubbles, white soapy head that has okay retention, not much lacing.

S - Floral hops with some pale malt sweetness, some grassiness as well.

T - All about the hops, spicy and floral hops hit you and there is a touch of sweetness from malts. Finish is slightly bitter and spicy, lingers in your mouth for a while.

M - Light and refreshing, moderate carbonation.

O - A solid beer, I would put it just slightly under SA noble pils, but I look forward to a sixer of this every year.
